Now that's a proper length for a freight train. Soon we well be able to make those giant American trains.

Columbia is currently celebrating that its metro area has surpassed the 2 million population, making it ever my most populated region ever in SC4. *

This is my best take at a North American inspired city, with its strict grid pattern in the downtown and inner city districts (north-south streets are numbered, east-west avenues bear the names of US capital cities), a towering downtown with art deco and international style skyscrapers, decaying industrial areas, a couple of neighborhoods divided by busy highways, elevated subways at the inner city and sprawling ritzy suburbs.

Expansion will be fun, which such a hilly terrain...

That looks so organic , nice job.

This tile is turning out to be a bigger disaster than I realized so now I'm ripping out and replacing entire sections.

Gonna need a custom lot for that Opera house but still haven't reinstalled the LOT editor. Sure wish I had a list of my favorite props and textures.

Oh wow!  That will be a fantastic BAT once you finish it.  It's a definite download for me when it's released.  Nice work.

I never make roundabouts because I hate them in real life, but I may have to make an exception for this!

Very nice work so far...!   While having an extra engine at the back is done, more often than not they are placed at the front.   *:)

Hi Robert.

...and that is not possible in SC4, thus my statement " For further detailed information on this project please visit my Dev thread over at SC4D (link at the bottom of this post) "

There you will read my research and conclusions of my experiment on the matter. Here is the link to make things easier. https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=17211.msg525973#msg525973
