Damn... I really want that city! 43.gif Is it possible to put the whole packet (-> Region, city, lots, ...) in a download link? Or don't you want to 'give it away'?

WOW Fox you are the master of city realism!  Do you touch up your photos with a little color balancing or something like that?  'Cause they look spectacular!  I love the BATs also... so well lighted, so detailed... works perfectly in Alicante!

Fast approaching page 5! 44.gif39.gif

Mr Piggy ... Thanks once again for the huge reply... you are fast becoming my most treasured poster of my City Journal.. your comments are always well thought out and tend to evoke small story or explaination after you question something or raise anissue about something, I love it indeed. I'm glad the instructions were easy to follow, and I hope it makes your game a lot faster to run. The blend of  Western to Eastern is a disired effect, and I'm glad you noticed it.

Sotendonin ... Thanks for the comment .. you can find that building here on the exchange ... I did post the link a few pages back ... but I will post it again for you... Swiss Re HQ  ... Good luck and thanks once again.

Alkaola ... Thankyou... such a honor to have you here, as you know, your creativeness is one of my biggest inspirations, I'm glad ew have each other to inspire.

GMT ... Thanks for stopping and posting, glad you like the pictures... more to come in a day or two.

Jeb ... Once again, a pleasure to have your presence here, I look forward to seeing your new creations once you get time to upload those pictures. Thanks for the comments.

CarmineHilton ... Hmmm.... I am humbled by your request, but it is too big and too many custom mods, bats and lots that are personalised. In total it would be close to the 5gig mark... Quite a stretch to upload and then pass on to someone else for download... sorry my friend you are just going to have to sit and enjoy the show... hehe, and hopefully be inspired to create somthing even better than this.

Leech10 ... Thanks for the comment Leech, I'm enjoying your several City Journals too around the sites...

CDI_spy ... I thankyou greatly for your comments here my friend... some pictures I do a little photoshopping too, but nothing too secretive, sometimes I colour over the ugly geen unbuilt areas, or brighten the night lighting a little, nothing else though. It's mainly straight from the game to your screen inside a simple template around the outside.

Thanks to all those who have taken the time to look here but are yet to post, I'd love to hear your coments too.

More updates are on their way... so stay tuned.

OMG! And you say I post nice comments. Those made my heart melt Fox! You have made my day and made my head grow bigger too. I tend to evoke allot of things and usually not a nice comment. Commonly its a riot. I hope to see an update soon. I can't wait! *gets excited*

Oh and Thank you! For the wonderful comment...

    Amazing pics as always !

I really like the fact you focus on one particular building, showing us the different surroundings of it.

    Great job!

Mr Piggy ... lol.. throwing compliments at each other I think will work quite nicely. I'm glad you like my responces...they are true and accurate though. I look forward to your next comment.

mightygoose ... I'm glad I'm showing you some new things... the Banespa is really a commercial bank that can be found here at Simtropolis I beleive, also over at SC4Brasil. I've just relotted it to fit my style of City.

latazyo ... Thankyou... I wanted something special to make that area of my downtown to stand out. I think it was a perfect choice. Thanks for the other great comment.

wouanagaine ... Glad you like the pictures still. I like the idea of showing off particular buildings... When I first joined the St community, I was an avid poster in a thread that encouraged people to post pictures of bats growing in game, and listing who they were made by and where to get them, ect... and I still to some degree do that now in my City Journals.

patfirefghtr ... It's ok... it's not compulsary to view my city journal...lol.. but I' glad you do, and that you posted. I appreciate your contribution.

Now... on with the spa of pictures...

Earlier on I posted a picture of some office development in the city... here are the follow on pictures of it open for business...

Here we see another corporation... Renesa known for it's computer components and chip manufactoring. This is it's Regional HQ for the St Marque Inlet Region. Located to the back of the tower is the show room and stores where you can buy all the goods direct and view the latest in technology.

    Renesa%20Corporation%20AC%2001.jpg

    Renesa%20Corporation%20AC%2002.jpg

In the heart of the City are some of the biggest companies in St Marque Inlet... here we see the construction of a new tower and it's completed form, soon to be the home of Wall Street Finance, an investment and finance firm.

Located to the North West of the City on the edge of the Parklands that divide the City center and the Western suburbs is Cauley Sports Field. Used for Baseball it is one of the older sport parks in Alicante City. It is used to showcase games between local teams against Japanese and Korean competitors.

That's all for now... I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I have in taking them... More pictures to come soon... so stayed tuned.

    Oh.. and as always, Enjoy!

Fox, your CJ looks awesome! Abosultely LOVE it! especially your seamless transitions, variety of buildings, layout of roads and other transit... parks, trees everything

    i have three questions:

    1. where did you find the railway bridge over the highway - can't seem to find anything like it on the STEX

    2. What park sets are you using for your parks/walktrails

    3. are you using custom growable comm and residential buildings? I love the variety in your buildings. (i havent got to the stage where i grow such tall buildings yet.)

keep up the good work :-)

    Great update fox

I really like the construction pic, you 're right about that 4.gif

The financial district look quite buzy, still the parks around make it looks like a pleasant place to have a job . BTW what is the pink building ?

And the baseball field is so realistic with the parking ! It's really something that a make a city more realistic

    Keep it up!

Rochefort ... Thank you for dropping by and leaving a comment.. I'm glad you liked it.

Cobb ... Thanksyou for your comment... such an honor... also very glad to see you are back, it's been way too long. I look forward to catching up with you.

Marty22 ... First up... thanks for the great comment. I try hard to get pictures that look good, something that is eye pleasing to me to share with you.  Now to answer your questions... The railway bridge over the highway is two parts.. the actual rail is part of the NAM, and the frame over it, is a set of lots off the exchange here Underbridge Rail Intersections ... The parks I am using are  PEG Trail Parks III ... Finally.. yes I use alot of custom made stuff...I have almost re-lotted almost everything I have downloaded off the exchange here to suit my Cities, so you could say that everything is customised.

wouanagaine ... Once again you return and comment...lol... Thanks. That pink building is a residential apartment. You can find it over at the SC4Brasil site. They have heaps of exclusive bats and parks there for download, worth going and checking it out. You can find that particular building here... BzB Residêncial Girassol

matt_sbs ... Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. As to getting the big buildings developing, it's a matter of getting the high demand, followed by high traffic areas. More traffic on the roads, the more likely a higher stage building will grow. I also remake a few lots myself for the ones that I find don't actually grow, or grow to rarely for my liking.

AHA ... Thanks you for your comment, I try to get as much detail as possible in to my Cities.

Great work Fox, your roads intersections are so smart and amazing, and the way you plan the development and stuff is great.

PS. The flag on Banespa Tower is from Sao Paulo State and not from Brazil.

your high tech area looks great, your choice of buildings/what the sim built there, looks like some high tech boom town in southeast asia.

just curious, where did you get those big trees?

all the commercial towers look great. i like how you still manage to have some green space in such a dense area. andother great thing about it is that you don't use a grid pattern. the road layout is really cool. the ballpark fits in perfect with the surounding areas and i like how it divides the city center and the western suburbs. keep up the great work!

Fox - I don't normally view CJ's as I have a wireless connection....(enough said - it's very slow) But I must say the realism of this city and its suburbs is just awesome mate - brilliant 9.gif

sloppet ... Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it once again.

Leech10 ... More is on it's way my friend....soon.. perhaps over the weekend sometime.

Fabiocb ... Thanks for the comment about the roads. About the flag... I'm sure Sao Paulo State is considered part of Brazil still... so it is still valid, if I am wrong here, then my humble apologies to the Brazilians who might be offended.

hamsterTK ... Thanks for the comments and question. The trees are off the exchange here, they are the Eucalyptus trees found in here ...  Jeronij Vol 02 Trees ...

Goin2Chicago ... Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment... I tend to use a lot of green spaces alot, cause I live in a City that has a tree lined streets, a park around every corner and an entire downtown surrounded by a park...making it a very unique City in the World. I take my inspiration from Adealide, Australia. As to the non grid conforming layout, well.. you get sick of using it all the time, this way it makes it more challenging.

Yoman3 ... Thanks for once again posting a comment, I appreciate it.

mattb325 ... Thanks... I'm really glad to took the time to view my City journal, and the fact that you liked it is even better... I hope i can keep you interested for a while longer... I tend to save my pictures as jpgs and reduce the quality a little to help keep each picture between 80k and 180k normally.. so it is a little easier on the people viewing the thread.

threeswept ... Thanks.. I love those two... I just love watching things grow in game... so interesting.

once again, thanks to all those that posted, I really apreciate it... Another update will hopefully be on it'sway over the weekend... so stay tuned...

    Oh, and as always... Enjoy!
