About This File

This set is another in my Aussie Retail Series. This time I've done a set of small tyre shops. The brands featured are:

  • Bob Jane TMarts,
  • Beaurepaires,
  • Bridgestone,
  • KMart Tyre and Auto,
  • The Tyre Factory, and
  • Tyrepower

This set contains eight growable lots, four CS$ (1x2 corner, 2x1, 2x2 corner and 2x2) and four CS$$ (1x2 corner, 2x1, 2x2 corner and 2x2). There are no plopables in this set. The buildings are in a building family and so will appear randomly as the lots grow. See below for technical details.

These lots are BSC Tracking Enabled (BTE) which means they may contribute to Reward Chains.

Love these small growables and even though you say they are Aussi many also appear in Europe too. Thanks a lot.

Nice work! Just curious- is the Kmart logo with the blue lettering and the big red K still used down under? In the US, this logo was scrapped for the much blander red K with the script "mart" inside in the early 90s.

marcszar - nope that's the one they use (on the tyre stores anyway). There's now no relationship between Kmart US and Kmart Oz. The US chain used to own 21% of shares of the Oz chain, but they were bought out 10 -15 years ago.

Really nice! Little shops like these are always sprinkled around cities. Thank you for adding some more realism to the game.

You've done it again! Thank you for the fantastic foray into Aussie content! Love it! Keep up the great work. I am still working through basic tutorials on BAT, but am developing the Dublin Spire (I know, it's not Australian) as we speak - purely because of its simplicity. Cheers again, bud!
