Here are four Old Time Power Plants using jestarr's various small Boilerhouse models. Thanks to jestarr for the great props. All capacity/plop/monthly costs are balanced to the standard Maxis coal power plant's numbers. These lots feature smoke effects and normal levels of pollution. The diagonal Boilerhouse Type A lot and the Owosso lot have concrete base textures from NCD Railyard Textures pack, matching @T Wrecks' Industrial Revolution Mod I-D fillers. Other lots have grass or dirt base textures. The Owosso Boilerhouse has an overhanging portion: depending on neighboring lots, the basement access stairs will be hidden in a W2W setting, or show on pavement with IRM fillers. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD - WALL-TO-WALL INDUSTRY American Licorice Company by jestarr 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW The second upload in a series of IRM W2W lots based on BAT models made by other artists is American Licorice Company, another BAT made by jestarr. The building will provide 360 I-D jobs. Since the building can only be used as W2W in one orientation, all lots were made with right corners in mind. The following lots are included: 2x6 right corner, Stage 1 2x7 right corner, Stage 1 3x6 right corner, Stage 1 3x7 right corner, Stage 1 In keeping with the other IRM stuff, the job numbers are intended for be in line with Maxis stuff if you use Toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler. Since you cannot zone large coherent areas with W2W industrial and the lots can be complemented with fillers, the resulting job density will, in fact, be not that excessive. For the same reason, growth stages for IRM W2W are generally kept low. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM W2W Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Within that folder, you will find all the game-relevant files and a sub-folder containing the HTML readme and some screenshot(s). If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows: Bulldoze all lots pertaining to this download Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing Remove the associated files from your plugins folder Hint: Just to be sure, I recommend moving the undesired files somewhere else and doing some checks before you delete them permanently. This way, if it turns out you forgot to bulldoze something, you can add it back in temporarily until you're done. 3 - DEPENDENCIES IRM W2W Base Pack Since this is an extension to the IRM, all the dependencies of the original IRM base pack still apply. In addition to this, you'll need the original upload of the BAT to see the buildings: American Licorice Company - only the .sc4model file is required. NOTE: You must be registered and logged into the BSC File Exchange over at SC4Devotion in order to see the download button. Please bear in mind that there are separate logins for the forums and for the file exchange. If you want to have the option of blocking the enclosed lots from growing temporarily, for example when you want to go back to regular (i.e., non-W2W) IRM industry for a while, you can use the IRM W2W Expansion Blocker v 1.0 (or higher) from January 23, 2015 (or later). INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD - WALL-TO-WALL INDUSTRY Acme Boiler Factory by jestarr 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW As the first upload in a series of IRM W2W lots based on BAT models made by other artists, I present to you Acme Boiler Factory, a BAT made by jestarr. Unlike most other industrial lots, this one comes in three versions. Factory 1 consists of only the main building, Factory 2 of only the side building. Factory 3 has both buildings on one lot. The boiler factories will provide 400 I-D jobs (Factory 1), 180 I-D jobs (Factory 2), and 580 I-D jobs (Factory 3), respectively. You can choose to keep them all or pick whatever version you like best. The Wood's Paper Products went out of business quite some time ago. After standing empty for some years it was finally sold to a development company which completely re-structured the inner core and turned it into mid-wealth condominiums. The ground floor houses some health food stores and on the old yard a small market with fresh produce is held twice a week. 3x4, residential growable for 298 R$$ (stage 5, any density or tile-set) and/or 3x4, commercial ploppable with 322 CO$$ jobs * Based on Wood's Paper Products by Jestarr :-) DEPENDENCIES Wood's Paper Products Needed: jes_WoodsPaperProducts-0x5ad0e817_0xf4900b21_0x30000.SC4Model WMP Mega Textures v1.02 SimFox TreePack #2 PURe Basic Pack DEVELOPER NOTES Add the new lot (07_The_Woods) to your PURe folder.
