I had the same problem, so I just replied to the activation email I got and jeronij emailed me back and had me manually registered.

I've been here for a couple weeks and have yet to introduce myself, so I suppose I shall do that now... Hey, y'all! I am Aundrea! Originally from Georgia, but just moved to Eugene, Oregon in September after a 5-year-long stay at Ft Hood, Texas with my (now ex-military) husband and our super awesome basset hound. I'm 27, work for Enterprise Holdings (Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National, Alamo, WeCar), and I will finally be finishing up my business management degree starting in January. When I have free time I generally spend it working on one of my many unfinished cities in SC4D, drafting floorplan designs, cooking delicious meals, traveling to the coast, or reading in the bed. I am a devout member of American Atheists, volunteer at our local Boys and Girls Club a few times a month, and I also help police-call park paths in the Adopt-A-Path program. Needless to say, I enjoy staying busy and active in my community. That is pretty much me in a nutshell!

You certainly can buy SC4D in the store without getting the entire SimCity Box. I got mine at GameStop, but I'm not sure if you have game stores around your area.

Looking for any small town related shops, restaurants, and stations. I've got the Smalltown USA series from JB, and a few things from DK1, but with the search results returning very little relevant to what I'm looking for I figured I'd just ask here. I found this photo in the "Show us your small towns" thread that USA Patriot posted a few years back. Anyone know where I can find the shops? I've seen a lot of "small town" shops on the site, but they are 3, 4, 5 stories tall, whereas I just want some row shops that are 1 and 2 floors. I'm attempting to do a semi-replica of my hometown, and we don't have any buildings over 2 floors, with the exception of an abandoned factory. Thanks, y'all!

I got the activation email with the code in it, but on the page it directs me to (the image I posted above) even has a place for me to put the code, but the only option I have to send the code is the "Resend activation code" button. Why do I need the code resent when I'm already trying to enter it? Why wouldn't they have an "enter activation code" button or something? I entered my own password when I registered, but even when I try to login to the site from the homepage with my username and password, it gives me the "Your email address needs to be validated before you can login" page. I click the validation link in my email and it takes me right back to the page I listed above. It's like I'm going in circles!

I looked on the website for a contact link to find someone from the website to help me, but I can't do anything unless I am actually registered. I was hoping someone from here could help me! I have been trying to register with this site for over 30 minutes now and for some reason it keeps asking me to either activate my email address or for an activation code. I have had it resent to me about 3 times, and each time I click on the activation link in the email it directs me to a Resend Activation Code page. It has a box where I can manually type in the code that was sent to me, but the only button I can press to send the code is the Resend Activation Code button. I've been going in circles through the same pages, but I still can not sign in. It even shows at the bottom of the main page "Welcome our newest member AundreaLynn", but I can't do anything! Someone please help me before I go insane. There are files on there I need to download.

It had something to do with setting the priority of the processors. I have a Quad-Core processor and it was giving me all kinds of trouble, but now I'm CTD free!

It's practically brand new to me! I was still playing SC3K up until about 2 months ago when I discovered what exactly SimCity 4 could do (thanks to a random video on YouTube). I went out the next day and got the Deluxe bundle, and I have been addicted to it since. I didn't even know how old the game was until after I installed it and was taking a gander at the back of the box. As lame as it sounds, I even find myself planning out new areas of my city in my head while I'm working or taking a shower. I would like to see a SC5 in the future, but I've heard they were supposed to release that thing a few years ago and just keep putting it off. As interesting as CitiesXL looks, I'm just getting started on SC4, so it will be a while before I consider delving into that game.
