  1. Farm Desirability MOD

I had missed this mod previously and downloaded it. When I unzip it into a folder, nothing is there - empty folder. Tried several times. I've never had this happen before and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

For simcityPH and Generic Salad:   1. Open SC4Mapper and tap "Create Region". 2. Tap "SC4M" button. 3. Navigate to the folder you downloaded the map into. 4. Select the SC4M file for the map. 5. Tap "Open". In a moment you will see the un-rendered map open. 6. Tap "Save Region" and name your region. 7. Close SC4Mapper.   When you open the game, you will see the map in your list of regions.   Good luck. :)

  8. Grand Valley

Thank you for the kind words! This was a map I had a region on and I thought maybe someone else might enjoy it, so I cleaned it up and saved it in SC4Mapper. I almost removed the highway ramp but decided to leave it as a "bonus". :)

This is my first upload and is a map I hand sculpted a few years ago. It is 5x5 large cities in a valley surrounded by high mountains. There are some rivers flowing through it into a small bay. It has enough diversity to create a nice region with a seaport and small towns in deep valleys. You will need SC4mapper to load the map. Suggestions? Dick Wright
  11. Info on uploading a map....

Thanks for the reply and advice. I'm guessing that the config is in the SC4M file, correct?
  12. Info on uploading a map....

I hand sculpted a small (5x5 large cities) map that I would like to upload. I have an SC4M file, a jpeg of the rendered region and jpeg of the config file. Does the config file need to be in another type? Then what? This will be my first upload so I have no experience at what to do. I've included a picture of the region. Thanks, Dick Wright
  13. I've been looking at some of my previous cj's. Might fire up one...

  14. Rio Grande

Your use of sea walls is outstanding, especially that industrial area. Everything is very well laid out.
  15. Over all, a slope mod will greatly enhance the look of your cities and add realism. Once you get used to one, you will find it just forces you to open up your cities and not crowd so much into a small space. Good luck!
  16. Pleasant Cove Island

I like the use of gravel pathways and those brick walks along the road. The parking lots you use are a bit different than I've seen and look really good in the pictures. Who makes them?
  17. Asgard

These pictures are incredible and really show off how well constructed your cities are. Great job!
  18. Update 35: There has been a lot of changes downtown as these two pictures show. I'll be back with a larger update in a few days. By for now!

Nice job putting those docks at the foot of the cliffs. I bet the fishing is pretty good too! What rock mod are you using if I may ask?
