Does anybody know who's in charge of the props IID range nowadays? I need to ask for one in order to create the subway stations lots.

Sweet! I like those industrial buildings. Here's a lot I created using the large one. I turned it into a classic car workshop. BTW, THANK YOU for not packing everything into DAT files, makes sorting things so much easier! If you're interested in cranes, think you can model these? From the port of Porto. I was gonna model them (I tried to do them a long time ago, never finished) but it's really not high on my priority list. Or if you have that in stock, some yacht crane? The kind that are large enough to carry large yacht in boatyards. quick question, do you have any yacht model in stock? I found a few that could be adapted into sc4 from the 3Dwarehouse, but the texture don't really work well.

A WIP for a very affluent closed neighborhood centered around a golf, next to the sea resort. To the right of the picture, opposite the fishing harbor is the Marina.

Some hill side villas.

@Barroco Hispano That crane really looks good. Trying my hand at building a closed community centered around a golf. Note that seasonal trees on lots have not appeared yet as I haven't started the simulation so far. (It's all plopped to get a general idea of how it should look)

Hello, thank you for the likes. As Promised here is a picture of the canopies alone. I had to use the transparent glass texture, as the first render with the frosted glass didn't work so good. I had to make a choice for the neon lights. At first I thought of changing the color to a standard yellow or modern white, but I didn't really like the result so I decided to keep my two favorites. For information, as I stated, the following platforms will be NAM exclusive, so don't expect them in the STEX release. Island narrow platform Island narrow diagonal platform island diagonal platform In the coming days I'm going to work on some additions to the set, some modern props that I think will look particularly good with the platforms and canopies. Plus a request from @Tyberius06 which I will model this week. I may also render a tram or two. Since I cannot model vehicles, I'd have to use 3Dwarehouse models. If they translate nicely to 3dsmax. We'll see. I have to wait a bit now that there is a 5 per day limit (they have a very loose definition of what a day is, maybe 72Hours??....) Anyway, pictures:

@Barroco Hispano Thanks I will take a look at this technique someday. For the time being, just moving the vertex in the UV map tab works well enough. --- Small update, here's the diagonal version of the side platform. The diagonal version of the island platforms will be a NAM exclusive as the textures setup isn't available yet. I also rendered the canopies on their own to use as bus stop. Sadly the frosted glass texture is broken on stand-alone version so I will have to re-render them (stand alone version) using the transparent glass texture. More on this probably tomorrow.

Looks good! I like the roof. texture.

Yeah it looks like that: All other views are fine.

Thanks! I've added some maxis props on the platforms and some planters from @Girafe . I've also made the lot 5x1 instead. I've also went ahead and did the render of the island platform. Unfortunately after 10 different LODs there's still the south zoom2 that's broken. Frankly I'm not about to spend my entire weekend to try and find that one LOD that work. So it's gonna be like that. Take it or leave it really. Here are some pictures, first of the side platform in 5x1 lot, and then of the island platform, 6x1 lot.

The sea front area I'm working on. Called "Gold Coast", inspired by many similar areas around the world where you'd find beaches, hotels, casinos, marinas and yachts (Riviera, HK ect)

It sure is. Well an adapted version really. I took the time to rework the texture of the platforms, I quite like what I have: Forgot the tactile paving, this will be added soon.

Thanks a lot for the advises. I will give it a try soon. In the meantime I started a little side project. I wanted to BAT this thing for a long time. Proportions are adjusted to fit better in the game. Otherwise the real world size would have been too small, even with 133%.

Some pictures of the seaport facilities I created. It's unfinished and it will never be as I decided to scrap all of this in favor of focusing on other things rather than build an entire region. General overview of the main port area. To the left of the picture was a river estuary and the fishing port. Here you can see the Container terminal, LNG Terminal, Oil Refinery and storage facilities, Shipyard, scrap/trash loading area, Coal power plant and its loading port, Grail silos and loading area, Passenger ferry (very left), cruise port (using Mattb325 Nice Terminal) and car ferries (with setbacks to allow car ferries to load/unload. The marina: To the left is a maintenance area for yachts. The middle and bottom (and bottom right) piers would be used for large yachts.

@SusajiThere was a version by Caliban from BSC that was only available on the LEX DVDs iirc. Honestly from Girafe what I'd really like to get is the Federation Tower. But really there are a lot of cool BATs unreleased, Simfox had some great stuff almost finished from China and Japan... @gutterclubExcellent initiative btw! There are some really excellent BAT lost to the time. Moonlight also had some great looking diagonal W2W building he never released (Though I'd want them in ortho, I don't really care about diagonal buildings tbh)

Hello, Sorry for the lack of update here, I got a bit sidetracked doing other things. Mostly because I'm stuck at the texturing stage. What I generally do for texturing big stuff like a platform or a roof is I take a large screenshot of the top view (Shaded) in 3dsmax so I know where things are (Hvac, pipes etc) and then create a large texture for that. This works fine for roofs and I can manage to avoid strong repetitive parts. However right now for the platforms I must admit that I'm a bit at a loss on how to do it. The reality is I'm not an expert, even my 3d models aren't really efficient or well made. And texturing is really the one thing I dread all the time when creating large or specific buildings. IRL I believe the platforms are made of granite slabs or something like that. Using textures found online leads to a lot of repetition. Does anyone have any resources I can use (tutorials etc) so I can learn to texture large parts without repetition? For information I'm using 3dsmax 2014 and Adobe Photoshop 2022. I'm open to learn other software if it's gonna help me achieve this goal (texturing software?)

The greatest curse known to the sc4 world... A list of interesting model so long it will take years to complete...

Sure I can include props exemplars.

Thank you! @Urban Vibravant I agree. I wasn't satisfied with the texture anyway so I will be doing a new export. Here's the side platform. This will be rendered in ortho and diagonal version.
