I like the question about what to do with unused money ingame... EA says use it. Haha what a rude joke. Come on, reimburse the poor souls! Screwing your best customers will make them never ever come back and its just morally the right thing to do. This is very interesting though I wasn't expecting this at all. This kind of crude and unforgiving death will definitely be SC2013 withing two years... especially if they expect to finance running the servers of DLC's containing large balls or yarn

EA's Peter Moore vows to 'do better' in response to 'worst company in America' poll
Jamonbread commented on Freddyeddy's article in News
I feel like EA still really doesn't understand their problems or they legitimately think saying something has more importance than reality. I'm so sick of their horrible PR... they need to scrap the whole honest mistake stuff and reevaluate literally everything they are doing. EA had become the what not to do company for sure. -
The amount the game can do is unreal! It's interface and ability to see terrain elevation well is not fantastic but I'm not concerned with that at all, just an area of improvement. Its a steep learning curve and can be frustrating at times since small things like road upgrades, ability to draw roads through roads ect is lacking but overall the fundamentals of the game and the insane detail which is optional to get into is great. I would say best game to be released in awhile!

That rail bridge is awesome and nice use of the curvy roads and sculpting up the countryside! You're making it a pain to resist SC4 from exams. :P

[RRT Team] Road Re-Texture Team - initiative and project plans (looking for participants)
Jamonbread replied to MandelSoft's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
Being from Ontario I think its pretty sweet modifications. TLA-3's look legit. The turnarounds are kinda funny... I think the Ontario ones are wider the ones you made look more like Quebec. I think for the off ramps adding the splitter textures of ontario with collision props would be the coolest thing to make the highways more Ontario looking. Anyways dont have much time or knowledge to contribute really just giving my two cents, Keep it up guys! -

My city is making loads of money, but I'm getting these funky opportunities...
Jamonbread replied to punkrockgoth1988's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
You can stop the u-drive it missions by going to the sims tab and clicking on the bottom sub-tab. If you like them then yes many have consequences and rewards... you can check by allowing them to settle for a month or two and then checking the graphs... I think the research centre produces a dribble of radiation that doesnt even reach the edge of the lot so it should be fine.
