  1. HK International Commerce Centre

Man, I have been watching/reading every update along the way and I must say, I jumped up and down when I saw this thing of beauty. Great work as usual and I agree with nba_94. Maybe you could take a look at the Devon Tower renderings in Oklahoma City, I would love to see that in SimCity.
  2. MENARA IMPERIUM

Wow, this looks amazing. I have never seen the real building before but I am looking forward to trying this out in one of my cities.
  3. Dubuque, Iowa

I have seen this cj from time to time, and I usually don't comment much, but I must say, you have a lot of patience. Seeing the detail you put into making such wonderful realism truly gains my respect. Great work on your region.
  4. Walt Disney Music Hall

I have downloaded this BAT from your site as well, about a month ago. I must say this is truly well done and one of my favorite buildings. I have never seen a building rendered so clearly and so detailed; it looks very realistic and is simply amazing. Great Work.
  5. Best City Skyline

    1. Hong Kong (stunning architecture, and beautiful mountainous backdrop) 2. New York City (such architectual variety, ranges from gothic to modern) 3. Dubai (the almost radical nature of architectual design keeps me interested in what they will come up with next) 4. Kuala Lumpur (love the Petronas complex) 5. Sydney ( I love its modern skyline and the opera house & harbor bridge are a plus) 6. Chicago (Sears Tower and the Hancock Building, just to name a couple of reasons) 7. Seattle (love the Washington Mutual Bldg, the formally named Sea First tower, and the Boeing Bldg, and who can forget the space needle and mountainous backdrop) 8. Dallas (my home city and one of the most modern, glass filled skylines) 9. Toronto (CNN Tower help it to stand out in my mind) 10. Monte Carlo (not your main stream skyscraper complex, but the view of the homes, hotels, mountains, etc from the harbor [including the yachts] is spectacular)
  6. Su30MKK

When I tried to use area 51 with this file installed, it caused my game to crash.
  7. DK1 TSBD Building

Great work. I am from Dallas and your recreation is quite true to the building. I am happy to have it in my city.
  8. Dubai

Man, your region looks very close to satellite imagery (with the exception of the island area north Old Dubai). Great detail, looking forward to seeing more.
  9. Show Us your Highways!

This is an awesome motorway. Love the landscap, especially where the bridge crosses over the waterfall. Reminds me of traveling through the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, USA. BEAUTIFUL land, great highway.
  10. Molowaku Island

Man, I like the intro. You gave a lot of thought to your cities/country and I can appreciate that. I look forward to seeing a in-depth view of your cities and their history. Keep up the good work
  11. Show us your Small Towns

I have never shown a picture of my cities, since I am fairly new to actually playing the game. I like to build large cities but I make an attempt every once and a while to create smaller towns and cities. These pictures are of a smaller town/city called Kunkiila ("Mouth of Water or of a River") in the northern part of one of my regions, Mauakakiina. It is a city of about 16,000, and is surrounded with farmland. These pictures are of downtown looking both west across Penoi Bay with the Koa-Ka-Penoi (Penoi River) in the background and east toward Penoi Bay.
  12. City Name Database

My country, Wapuahlaelae (wa-pu-ah-lay-lay) is in the Pacific Ocean about 1300 miles of the coast of Peru. Thus my city names are based off a mixture of Polynesian and some South Amercian style names and they have designated meanings. These names are based off the regional cultural influences within my country. Large Cities Name Linguistic Meaning Nylaya - (Majestic/Great Beauty) {pronounced= nigh-lay-ya} Mauakakiina - (land of the Maua people) {pronounced= ma-wa-ka-key-na} Kihona - (Agriculturer) {pronounced= key-oh-na) Vahuahiilii- (The Nylayan King/god) {pronounced= Va-wa-he-lee} Kalona Malau (Seat of Power/Ruler) [The capitol of my country] Bay City Calahanae (Sea god) Small Cities Name Linguistic Meaning Sannerak (named after a ruling people) Kunkiila- (A Maua god of water) Pahonhna- (Where lowland meet the mountains) {pronounced= Pa-oh-na} Penoi Bay- (Upper most Bay) Bahava (Mountain god) Sahayla (named after a beautiful woman) North Point Cocanopa Argapa Quellbera I hope to put some of these cities on simtropolis soon.
  13. PEG OWW2 PierSet 1x Boat Dock

wow very nice. Peg, your bats have really enhanced game play and made making a water front on a city fun and exciting.
  14. transition NDEX GLR-to-Subway Transition

It is a good idea, however, when I tried to use the transition, I only got a brown box. I plan to download it again to see if it will works this time.
  15. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hello everyone, I am Nylaya24 on simtroplis but my real name is Fred. I write from the flatlands of Oklahoma City although I was born and raised in Dallas, TX (Do you see the conflict yet, TX/OK). Currently I am a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma studying Geography, specifically GIS. I have thus far only been able to play SimCity Unlimited 3000 because I don't have a computer capable of handling SC4 (Too old). However, I really enjoy seeing all the cities, bats, maps, and forums displayed on Simtropolis. This site has become a sort of recreation for me when I have a break between work and school. I hope to be able to contribute to the forums and STEX once I get a more powerful (newer) computer. To all those that contribute to the success of this website, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
