This replaces the default yellow pedestrian crossings with zebracrossings. NOTE: This is now also available as part of the Euro RoadTexture mod. Check it out at: https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=59577 To install, simply place the Zebra_Crossing_Mod.dat file in any one of your plugin folders. To uninstall, just remove it again. If you detect any screw-ups or bugs, don- 48 Comments

Both straight and diagonal versions are included. Credits for this one goes to Gascooker. Firstly, for his flower market,to which the design of this station owes a LOT. Secondly, for the glassroof texture, which he was kind enough to provide. Both design andtexture are used with his kind permission. Please note: whenplacing the stations, make sure to drag the el-rail line through thestation again after placing, or things won't connect properly. Also, please notice that the straight version is designed to have a road rununderneath at one end. Passenger capacity: 5000. Plop cost: 500$ Bulldoze cost: 80$ Monthly cost: 20$ Questions, comments, criticism is welcome.- 75 Comments

I thought some of you might find this a bit interesting. I'm making a zebra crossing mod: For now, this mod alters road- and one-way intersections. No changes are made to interchanges that involve streets or avenues at the moment. This may change in the future

Well, I'll be damned... my SC game disk broke! It snapped in half, inside my blasted piece-of-crap budget DVD player (that's it- the damned player can consider itself cremated). Anyway... I think I'll take this occasion to take a SC and SimTrop holiday. I do need to go out and get a life. I'll probably be back... but it's ciao for now. *waves*

Is there a time limit to sim city 4?
morifari replied to samoyed1958's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I've been stuck on this game since Rush Hour came out, and there's no signs of the addiction subsiding. Unless I get myself together, uninstall the whole thing, toss my game disks in the river, and give back my cable modem to keep me off Simtropolis, there doesn't appear to be a limit to how long I, at least, can play Sim City. But I guess that's not what you meant. -
I can't believe I didn't notice your BATs until now... I just downloaded the whole collection from the STEX. Your work is quite excellent!

Date: 2/25/2005 8:15:53 PM Author: garfiedude I'm not sure if this is strictly a mod or not, but i'll post it here none-the-less. I'm sure most of us are familiar with PEG's neat leveler tool, but how about a gradient tool, one that creates a perfect smooth slope, with each tile one unit (ingame level, one click on the terraform tool inother words) lower. Would save spending ages making those perfect smooth slopes for more realistic rail slopes and such. Is that even possible?quote> Here you go: https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/download.asp?fileID=2299&topicID=44972&forumID=41&catID=13 The file is called BRF_TunnelAndSlopeMod. It's made by BigRedFish. It does two things: makes it easier to make tunnels, and lets you create perfectly smooth slopes whenever you drag any transit type. The only issue is that rail is only allowed to be on almost flat ground, but that can be worked around by temporarily taking the mod out of your plugins and putting it back when needed. Hope this helps.

Two new generic labels: "Just Arrived" and "Mogul"

Date: 2/14/2005 6:51:59 PM Author: dev I think what would fit best after Geek would be SimTropolis Addict quote> What? I'm only a dweller, but I'm most certainly already a Simtropolis addict. In fact, I'm thinking about giving back my cable modem and moving to the countryside for de-tox. Maybe be a farm-hand or something. And get a cat. Yeah. -
The link in Newyorkrunaway's sig doesn't seem to work at the moment. Also, I can see that he hasn't been around recently. Is the NAM site down? Does anyone know if it'll be back up?
