Alright, Methinks I'll have a go at this. Hi, I don't think my dad would want me posting my first name, so I'll just say my middle name (which I actually prefer) I'm Charles. I'm semi-new to the world of SC4, but seeing as I'm currently spending nearly every minute of the day on ST, I'think I'll be a "Simtrop Aficionado" pretty soon. I'm 13, so I don't have a job, besides earning a few bucks doing chores around the house. If I'm not on ST, I'm probably playing Mariokart Wii, obsessively trying to win the 150 cc Special Cup. (Darn you Rainbow Road! ) Or I'm playing Pokemon White on the 3Ds - by the way, an awesone product, I'd recommend it! I'm interested in Urban development and city planning, and one day, I hope to travel to Dubai and see the amazing architecture and design. I have no idea how my profile has 180 views, but hey, I wont complain! Oh, and 111222333444, I didn't know you play Diamond.

I wish I have Pokemon Black or Pokemon White (My Brother said it is racist, but not me)

I first heard of Simtropolis when I was searching for Network Addon Mod and RHW to put in to my laptop, and I stumbled here. Since then, I registered in order to be able to download the mods. However, I am only active in the community since yesterday. My hobby and interests are Anime, videogames (FPS, City Building, Flight Simulation/Arcade), reading books, and swiming. BAT = Building Architect Tool... it's one the great tools that let players create custom content for the game. You can check out the BAT thread here.

The Omnibus is also a great place for all kinds of information..

Ahhhh how I've missed SimCity 4 and Simtropolis.

Hello everyone. I'm back - after years ... so probably no one remembers me.

I used to be a high school student back when I was really active. Now I've graduated college and working for a very well-known, International Architecture firm. Now that I have a regular 9-6 job, I have nights free to dedicate to what was once my favorite hobby - SC4 + ST.

I'm currently re-downloading the Gigabytes of plugins I once had, and can't wait to re-join the reals of City Journals once more.

I also see that now 3ds max is used for BATs. Maybe I'll play around with creating BATs .

Anyways... glad to be back, remember old memories, and make new ones with new friends.

Hi all, I've made a couple of "need help" posts and thought I should introduce myself before I do anymore of that. This is probably my 3rd or 4th time attempting to play SC4, starting from the first week it was released back in 2003, but after spent a *lot* of time with it in the past few days, I'm finally getting the hang of it and am looking forward to playing it for some time to come. (Having a newer PC and knowing about the NAM/NWM makes a big difference this time around!)

I recently graduated from law school (after working for 6 years post-undergrad), and have approximately 10 weeks to wait to find out whether I passed the bar, so I have a lot of time to kill in the near future. My friend referred to SC4 as a "virtual bonsai tree", and I think that's a great way to describe the game - you can really make just about anything you want, with preparation and patience anyway. I've enjoyed the time I've spent with it already, and am excited to test out some of the great BATs I've downloaded.

This seems to be one of the best gaming communities around - I look forward to interacting with you all more as things go on.

Hello i was allready arround for a year, but i never introduced myself.

Since the last month i am picking up simcity again and i was looking here for some help and learn something about the game to get an bigger and more beautiful town.

Annyways, my name is Danny and i am from the Netherlands. I like to developping games like simcity, locomotion and the football mannager. Okey the last one is not really an developping game, but i like to build up an new team with my own tactic. So it's kind off developing.

I buyed simcity 4 when it just was out. I got the expansion Rush Hour as well.

In normal life i like to be bussy with my car, windsurf and play tennis. I got an job in an laboratory and so i got only my free time in the evening and saterday and sunday.

This is all i think. If someone wants to know annything about me they can allways ask me.

I hope i can make an bigger city with the help here.

Hi, 111222333444, actually, I can't practice yet. The bar exam results come in on October 14th, and at that point I'll either be licensed to practice (in Virginia only), or I'll have to wait and take the exam again in February. I've got my fingers crossed! If you're in Virginia, and need someone, feel free to contact me then, but try to stay out of trouble regardless, please.

I actually had checked out some of the CJs on my last attempt at playing SC4. I had one of them bookmarked and came across it last week, which was what prompted me to try to play it again. Just after I made the above post I started combing through the STEX - I've downloaded over 100 BATs already and want to finish going through the database as much as possible so I can have as many neat growable "surprises" as I can before I continue building my city.

I am not really an scientist like developming things. My work is more measering diseases like HIV and Pfeifer.

And yes i can windsurf. Not so good, but i am holding on. This sunday i go on summerholliday for 2 weeks special for windsurfing. Should be great fun.
