I live in Hawaii, currently in college working my way up into Graphics Design (possibly Advertising). I've been a fan of Sim games since SC3000, even got SC4D the day it came out. I've used to post stuff on the STEX before on an old username, but like Exla before me, I've used to be here all for the downloads. Now I've decided to start fresh and really join in the community.

Just from being here before years back I think this may be one of the greatest community sites for one of the greatest games in the world. Keep up the good work everyone!

Hello, All.

While I'm not new to Simtropolis, I've been away long enough that I thought I'd do an "official" reintroduction for all the new (and old) members.

My name is Gary and I go by Vandy on the 'net, although; I'll answer to either name. I've been associated with Simtropolis since December of 2004 (Wow! It's been THAT LONG?!?!) and find it to be one of THE BEST SimCity 4-related sites available today.

I've actually never seriously gotten into "playing" SC4 as it was intended. Rather, I enjoy making maps. I have a number of maps available on the STEX so, if you're interested, check them out.

If you're looking for me, you'll most likely find me hanging out in the Mapping Community Room Forum. That's where I spend most of my time.

You might also find me in the Map This! - Cartography Services thread which is where I showcase and discuss the maps I've made and am making.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all the new members as well as reconnecting with the current membership.

Hi all,

although I'm not new to simtropolis, I want to reintroduce myself.

I'm a student of the University of Technology Delft and I study architecture. It is my first year and I like it!

I do not have much spare time, but now I want to play city building games once more.

I like CitiesXl (and before that City Life, for anyone who knows that game). I also played SimCity4 but I find that a little bit static (not gameplay, but in a design perspective). So now I'm hoping to get in the game and community once more! Particulary with city journals. Check out my old CJ about Abu Dubai. I might want to continue with that city, or start a new one. I dont know yet.

Hello everyone, Lauron here!

While I may not be a new member, I certainly am someone that took interest to this (fantastic if I might add) site late, this week in fact.

So what can I say about me, aside from the usual boring stuff (I am boring, sorry for that)? I am a relatively good guy that likes making his cities look good! ... and fail dramatically at that, but that's not the point!

People that know me will probably refer to me as sarcastic, ironic, funny or simply weird.

It's not the first time I present myself in front of a lot of people I don't know, but I always was shy at it (sadly, this feeling gets away after awhile. Then I start posting. A lot).

It's not the first gaming community, if I might refer to it this way, that I joined either. Yet every time I write something about me, I am at a loss of words.

What about me? I am a technically speaking normal person with relatively strange hobbies. Collecting medieval weapons being the first, cycling being the second and (video) gaming the third.

I am 20 years old, study Chemistry, hoping to aim for the Forensic Sciences. With a bit of luck and good will, I guess I'll reach that. And despite the weirdness of it, I am also a book writer, although not a good one. I am not a native English speaker and my skills are rather lacking. But still I wrote a book.

Well, that's about it, thanks for reading - if you did. And if you did not, basically all I said was "Hello"

Also, I am a very civil person, despite being put in awkward situations like this one. Hopefully I don't sound too dramatic or exaggerated. But that's me babbling! Sorry. So, see you around

I'm Jack, I've been playing SC4 ever since deluxe edition came out, I've had an on/off relationship with the game so I have really only played the game from: 2004-2006, 2008-2009, and 2010-present. I study Architecture with a focus on research of Historical Architecture and Urban Planning; So naturally SC4 is my game. When I'm not wasting countless hours fixing my cities, I'm writing a CJ, reading, designing, researching, or drawing cartoons for my web comic... if I'm not doing any of those call an ambulance... My name is Camilo and I'm 27 years old. I live in Santiago de Chile. After finish a degree in chemistry I'm now starting my own bussiness in the manufacture and sale of "green" (or friendly enviroment) household cleaners.

Since my childhood I'm interested in town planning even to the point to drawing city maps in every sheet paper that fell in my hands.

From now on I will be available to a more actively participate in Simtropolis especially in the BAT forums and not only downloading stuffs from STEX.

Yeah, I'm ZeaLitY. I first played SimCity on SNES, summer 1996, and SimCity 2000 on SNES shortly after. Messed with SC3K around 2005-2006, and am now giving SC4 a try.
