That building I have seen on the Japanese site SimCity Force. If you scroll all the way down on the homepage, and then click the lowest blue BBS link on the left it will take you to the archived pages. That particular building is on page 7. However, all that being said, the creator's home page doesn't seem to be dedicated to SimCity any more, and I can't seem to find anything about his SimCity creations. I have been wanting that building and a couple other items by that creator for a long time, so hopefully someone can find access to it.

I normally use the ground lifter to create rail systems in my urban areas. Anyone know where I can get a sloped rail to el-rail transition so I can connect the two? Thanks for the help.

Do you mean one of these situations...

Upper is regular heavy rail-to-rail viaduct and lower is GLR-to-ElRail. Both are possible with NAM. If this is not what you meant, then I have misunderstood...

Does anyone know where to find "plain" (Untextured) commercial aircraft for free? I tried the MDL2DXF converter and File>Import in Gmax, but no luck.

I can't find any Gmax (NOT 3dsmax) tutorials for commercial aircraft either. Can anyone show or reply to this message please?

You could take a textured plane and take the texture off right? Is there a problem?

Even if I could find an airplane, they're usually MDL files, I could use MDL2DXF to convert it and File>Import in BAT, but there's no scene (No model appears). Am I missing something?

Over 3500 untextured airplanes!

Remember -- you can use these models freely and distribute the rendered BAT but you may not redistribute the original model or any GMAX file that contains it. Pay attention to the file format before you download as there may be several different versions of the same model.

Also -- don't worry about the .gz or .tar extensions on the download; these are compression related and I haven't had any trouble unzipping them with WinZip or 7Zip.

Are any of these models for Gmax? I can't find any, they're 3ds, or some other weird types.

nic49548 -- GMAX will be happy to take 3ds, obj, and lwo file types. Go to File->Import and point it to the file you want; be sure to say NO when it asks it you want to keep the Animation length. Many of these files will also need to be re-sized to SC4 scale, some will have textures but most do not. When you save the file in BAT it will be converted to gmax format.

Well I found Trolca's train mod. It was in with his train set pack on the stex. www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm . Thanks to anyone who was looking for it for me. Really is a neat way to ad some realism to your rail systems. Give it at try.

I can't seem to find the elevated rail to normal rail transfer. I had it on this computer (the one im tyoing this on), however i deleted simcity and now I need it for my other computer. I searched it up like a zillion times in the last few weeks and i can't find it. Did it somehow get deleted from the stex? If anyone knows where to find it, please reply.

@Codfreak, Pegasus has a lot of marinas, just search his name on STEX, you still have to unlock them, but if you don't want to wait, use this cheat in game: ctrl+x then in the grey box type in "you don't deserve it"- it unlocks all rewards!

Sky Guy: Those houses are actually maxis buildings, they're called "Avery Abode" and "Handy House". You should be able to grow them in your cities by turning the building style set to "euro".

The parking lots in the picture looks like they're part of the lot itself (so it seems to me, anyway). They're using the default maxis textures, so it should be no problem to make them yourself in LE.
