I think that BSC Farm Fields SG Vol 01 should be the same. But in case it is not, you can find it on SimCity SQUAREhttps://cafe.naver.com/simcitysquare/31599

Greetings everyone.
I don't remember ever seeing it before and I'm unable to find anything myself.

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are out there any non-functional eyecandy or mmp sets for houses.
Doesn't need to be anything specific although I'd be using those in my rural/agricultural towns so I'd be happy if there's anything really.

Thanks in advance.

Has anyone ever created a customizable tree mod? I know Cycledog Tree Mod offers a decent amount of prebuilt options.  The closest to what im looking for is Cascadia Tree controller. But, it is Pacific coast American trees, where Im looking for East coast; more specifically , Appalachian. Cascadia uses some of the trees I want, but would love to swap out a few for other trees. East coast doesn't have those monster sized pine trees.

I would love to just be able to edit it myself, but after two months at reading articles on how to mod SC4, I am no closer to understanding how to do it. And from what I read tree controllers are one of the most difficult ones.  Maybe I'll get there, in learning how to create. I got some good ideas.

Is there a traffic generator which only generates a few cars? I now use the traffic generator from Mikeseith but even the toned down version generates a huge amount of cars. I would like to have a version which only generates 1 car per 30 seconds for example.

There are a number of sets by @EffTheGrid which include ploppables. @Krio's Toinen Linja 1 Set might also fit the bill. Since you mentioned rural towns, maybe you like the Hay Barns by @WalkerBD1. All those are ploppable lots though. I don't know of any MMP houses. The closest I can think off is Paeng's Grunge Concrete Set which includes two different MMP sheds. Links added below.

if you're only wanting a visual reduction in cars you can use the settings option available when you load the game to set the number of cars to minimum before starting your city play

Does anyone recognize the big industrial buildings that were put together in this image? I know the two small ones in the front and Fukuda’s Pulp Paper Mill in back, but the two (three?) large ones that make up the main body of the building are a mystery to me.

This is from Korver’s Toronto series, so the possibility of custom BATs is real, but I feel like I’ve seen these parts before.

More or less 2-3 weeks and it's gonna be available again on SC4Evermore. I'm in the middle of cleaning up and preparig all SimGoober contents that used to be on SC4D LEX and/or on the LEX DVDs. These are all updated versions compared to the available versions on STEX.

So stay tunned, they are coming really soon...

Awesome!  SimGoober has so much great content.  The glaring omission of so much of his content since sc4devotion went down has been kinda disappointing.  Glad to hear it will hopefully soon be available in full once more (yes, I know Simtropolis has a ton, but much of his content was exclusive to sc4devotion).

P.S. Happy New Year everyone!

I'm going through the process of installing the Japanese Facelift Mod, ad I think I'm successfully finding all of the T21 prop dependencies. As far as I can tell though, the Neko Japanese road mods are just that, T21 dependencies. I can't find any texture overrides to match the examples shown below (taken from the various street mods). Do such texture packages exist?

Second picture is the Old UK TuLEPs from NAM 36 and earlier, until that time EU users had 5 texture options to choose from for TuLEPs. Cheatcode: if you use TGN the UK Old option can be selected there, but of course these only support legacy setups, not the more recent FTL and QuickTurn pieces. After NAM 36, newer releases only include one supported texture style for US and EU users, maintaining all the custom options was simply no longer possible.

The first image is most just the regular TuLEPs for the approaches, it had customised intersection textures, I've seen those before but I don't know where they come from.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Hey, can I ask you a related question about the neko props? I'm having issues with a missing prop, along the diagonal one-ways. I think it's a street light. Any ideas what I'm missing? I've installed all the dependencies for the z_zJPN_SideWalk_Mod2. Thanks in advance if you have any idea

Hmm. Did you just download the Neko prop packs included on the Hide and Seek page, or did you get everything in the Readme as well?

image.png.f0ba36c9bf4b89617ab1b6e7cbeba99d.png

I installed the RHD version by Magneto directly on top, so I never played the game with just the Japanese sidewalk mod installed. So I don't know if it's the problem, but if you've already grabbed everything in the above readme, maybe try downloading all of the dependencies in that one as well? All I know is that's what I did and it works.

Hi, I think the crossroad in the first image is a part of Mas71's JPN Zebra Crossing mod, not the JPN Facelift. It was on the LEX :(

Perfect, thank you both for pointing me to that. I've got that up and running now.

As a side note (and maybe this should be memorialized somewhere outside this thread), this mod replaces the NAM legacy auto ave turn lanes. So you need to have those turned on during NAM installation, and only those get re-textured. The modern flex turn lanes and intersections are unchanged.

That wasn't mentioned in the attached readme (presumably because of when it was released), so it just took me a bit to figure out.

You can find that on Mas71's website on the Internet Archive.

Is this the only place it exists? If so, it would be great if someone could grab it and upload it to the STEX.

If it gets re-hosted here, that'd be a good time to update the Readme and to add it to the STEX description.
