And now for something different- working for lore about this thread. It is certainly noteworthy. What I have is:

Can't find it? Ask here!- All-encompassing thread where members will ask were to find certain items from the game- giving whatever screenshots / clues they can to help others assist. Since the thread is so frequently visited, what is asked for is almost always found. If it can't be found, due to the item no longer being hosted on a site that no longer works, BUT someone else still has it on their own computer, STEX moderators will often work with that member to upload the file in good faith, providing as much information as possible to credit the original creator(s). 

That sound about right, anything I should add or change?

Only paths I did were experiments, nothing worth releasing. Perhaps with the exception of a sidewalk compatible path MMP. But that never saw an official release, not sure if I uploaded it at all frankly.

hehe I have a random memory from that, but I wasn't sure. Maybe, like five years ago, I had read something, but I took a break from playing the game for some years and forgot a lot of things. I learn something new every day.

This can happen with downloads from the Internet Archive. In such cases you can try an older download (the post linked below explains what that means). Anyway, here is a link to a not corrupted download: Ocean Beach Hotel von oppie

Might be a good idea. There's been a couple other things by Oppie that had been on SimCityCentral and/or possibly SimKurier (and not on the STEX for some reason) that we've added to the STEX. Might go through my Oppie files to see if there's anything else...

I vote yes for this.  I think in general if a website is clearly abandoned, it should be archived here.  A lot of stuff can get lost if that's not done.

Greetings once again.

Looking for a specific set of car parking lots that I'm fairly certain were on the SC4D LEX.

I don't remember much about it, but it was a set of angle car parking that you could place alongside your road networks with only a handful of pieces, and each piece was quite detailed.

I also remember that on the end pieces, the sidewalk would make a circular 90degree turn towards the road.

Dunno if this is the right forum, but I'm trying to find the Cal SG Canals mod. Every link i found has sent me to page where there's a collection of mods with 1.5gb size. I just want to be able to use canals that look nice and on NAM page it says i need this mod to do that. Is there an alternative i can use that doesn't have a hundred dependencies?

What you need to extrat the Jar file with 7zip or winrar and search for the canal you want. Read the docs for dependecies !Recognize the frustraon with the ever Commen dependecies pack as being basic when you don´t need everything. Listed dependecies are just a fraction so it won´t hurt to much. Extract the compaired to the old installers quit a more easy way of seting up your instalation !

The diagonals can be found in the BSC Canals Collection too. I put the diagonals for both the remastered and for the original canals too into that package.

The models for the others are part of the Polish Mega Props - MISC vol01 v2, but I could not find any lots for them.
