And where can I  some maxis props? Maxis buildings are made of props and also some small props like cars, tanks, satellite dishes and miscellaneous other maxis props. I need them to download LotEditor lots and to make my own lots also.

Maxis props are available in the Lot Editor already; it should recognize them if you have SimCity 4 installed.

To place Maxis buildings as props in the LE, you'll need these two files in your plugins folder:

 

Bldgprop_vol1

Bldgprop_vol2

 

But as Indiana Joe said, the misc small props should already be available from the Props > Add Item list.

So I have this CAMeLot called "Bell South building" which shows up as a brown box in my game. I did a google search which sent me to this thread stating that the 4x4 SG Bell South Building requires the SG Commercial Lots/Models Hirise 1 as dependencies. But I have both of those in my plugins already. It even looks like I have doubles.

Anyone know why in my game I'm still getting a brown box? When I go to the link for the Lots download, I actually recognize all the buildings in the pictures, one being the Bell South tower! I also just noticed that theres a list of dependencies for the lots, and I checked, and I have them all.

I'm so confused. Help me simtropolians, you're my only hope.

Simgoober has put all of his files into megapacks some time ago, i think you're missing one of the megapacks that he has reuploaded...

Had this issue also awhile back with some of his files. I suggest you download his megapacks and it should fix the problem...

 

I can't tell you which megapacks you'll need but i guess you should look for his dependency packs which refers to his commercial collection...

It can also be the case that the duplicated files are making conflicts with eachother, remove the duplicates and try it again....

Thanks, I deleted the duplicates and went to the game, and saw the bell tower, which had been there the whole time. I realized that when I queried the box, the cursor was actually selecting the bell. I was really missing the quayside tower, which I now have settled. Thank you!
