Check out this: 

 

It comes with several files that block certain wealth buildings, depending on which you use. You simply place the files you want in your plugins, and the buildings it refers to will be blocked. Then remove the files to get them back again

 

While I'm here, does anyone know any good mods to replace the game's default ferry automata with something a little less... colourful? Thanks

W2W stands for Wall-to-wall buildings, which (as the name suggests) are as wide as the size of lot they are on, so two W2Ws next to each other have no space between them (if that makes sense). 

 

There are literally thousands on the STEX alone, so a quick search of either term should bring up loads for you to choose from

i saw some of those that you both referenced but was wondering if there were any others out there.  i had this one set (before i had to uninstall/reinstall) where it was a 3x3 lot ( i think) that looked more like a park than a parking lot.  i know that doesn't really help at all, but that's one that i've been looking for.  it's a real basic lot.

This one alright. Most of the pieces are 2x1 so its tough to fit in some tighter spots. The corner by the back elevator is missing. And the elevator on the front right is taking the place of that corner.

Hello everyone, may i ask if anyone knows where i can get more New York City buildings? I am currently recreating the city, i downloaded all possible buildings from the NYBT here but they're still lacking (yes, I even got all the housing projects they made here). 

 

I saw this blog about a guy/team recreating New York City and he/they have more skyscrapers in their recreation. e.g. 299 Park Avenue, JPMorgan Chase World HQ, etc. and in the blog, it says i can download it from there, but i can't. I wouldn't be asking here if i was able to download from their site. Sooo if anyone here could give me a couple of links to additional New York buildings I would be eternally grateful to you. 

 

(because I lack additional skyscrapers for Midtown and Downtown Manhattan, currently Im just using filler skyscrapers that are look alikes to the real ones they're filling in, until then I can get the real ones.) for the non-hi rise buildings i just use W2W fillers and old brick offices and apartments that are common in New York City. 

 

I browsed as much as i could here in this thread to make sure Im not repeating a question, but couldn't find any so yeah.

 

I just need the skyscrapers. Thank you my fellow mayors!

Just a suggestion, you could either find something better to fit your vision, or just custom lot a couple plazas. Wouldn't take but 30 minutes to have a dozen or two. Those plazas need relotting bad, the trees are growing out of the pavement, and right in the middle of the walkways. Check out Paeng's content on STEX and SimPeg. He has a set of 3 parks that are very adaptive and work with your sidewalk mods wonderfully

Hi all.

 

I'm working on a mountain themed region and I would love a covered roads mod so I can make my travelers feel safe when driving through the mountains.

 

I have tried searching for tunnel, avalanche, rockslide, landslide and  covered road but I couldn't find anything similair. Does such a mod or something equivalent exists?

I highly doubt there is a mod out there that can do that. You could add props protections with a T21 mod, the problem would be to have some control...unless you want all roads covered

Your best bet could be creating transit-enabled lots with props, but those aren't slope friendly and it's not recommended to place them adjacently...
