Hi...

I am having a problem with the palm trees that come with the game. Actually any palm trees for that matter. For some reason, they all come up as brown boxes. I thought these were standard to the game itself? Anyone have suggestions on why this is happening?

You probably installed a tree mod, tree mod replacement mod, or a "god mode" tree controller and lack a dependency. A picture might help.

I am making some models for a video game (which is my senior project) I am looking for sc4 models for inspiration.

The game is a industrial steam-punk puzzle game, It basically uses steam electricity and magnetism to solve puzzles.

I am looking for anything that would be something electricity related or "industiral steampunk" SOMYs refinery is nice but does not look like it would generate power.

Basically, I am looking for anything that Tesla could have made (even if its too advanced for his time)

Edit: Even with that file, the box still appears. Apparently there wasn't an update made that included the model file. Perhaps deleting or replacing it in Lot Editor would be the best solution unless someone knows if the model might be included in something else....

I used SC4Tool's "Dependencies Scanner". It's a separate file. He probably just forgot to include it:

One of them is the Louis Vuitton building that can be found on SC4 devotion's LEX, and the other I can't really recognize off the top of my head but it is some kind of w2w Japanese building, maybe can be found on the ST/Exchange.

Bottom right to me looks like the WTC transit terminal... I believe it's on the STEX somewhere, in two versions.

[EDIT] Hmm. After a closer look, it's actually not. That's what happens when you don't pay attention. Here are the WTC transit hubs, anyways. Both versions of it linked below:

The first one has a much smaller footprint, the second a much larger one.

It appears that the link in the download listing pointed to However, this isn't guaranteed since the STEX has gone through a few changes since the item was uploaded. Plus, the files from that set don't seem to provide the necessary textures.

From playing around with the Vision City lot, it seems that the required files are:

BSC Textures Vol1

BSC Textures Vol2

PEG CDK3 Resource Pack 01 (now included in )

Not sure why only one link in the listing, but these three files provide the necessary textures for the park paths that exist on the lot. It could be due to the changes that have happened since the Vision City was made.

If you are having other issues with the lot, perhaps there's more needed. However, it appeared fine for me once these were added.
