The upgrade is currently on the back burner however - a bridge here would cut off tonnes of water traffic

Really like the new Interchange. Suggestion:  make it a tunnel instead. It will look a lot better in the end, IMHO.

that was my original intention, but i'm pretty sure there isn't enough room before the river for a grade change of any kind

EDIT: can you dig below sea level? i just moved the interchange the the left a bit to allow room for a tunnel, but the hole diggers won't work

I decided to rebuild an old city which I made back in 2012, starting with an area around a train station:

I think I saw this on an anatomy map once.

Best subtle joke I heard in a while, but kinda mean.

Nah, I don't think it's mean. My first thought was also "ovaries". Nothing mean or wrong about that :).

The city of Boswell (125,067), right between Rourke and Alicante in western Maricopa, saw a booming growth in the late fifties through seventies, resulting in some significant buildings and the rise of a skyline. In recent years though, said growth has dwindled and idle lots sit next to the glorious high rises. However, with the construction of a supermall near the downtown area, Boswell has received another economic push, which has lead to many an idle lot being transformed into a landmark.

edit: hmmm. Seems like just posting the links no longer automatically show the pictures. Anyone know of any other way to do that, now that the image button is gone?

Some say the two trailers and the two cars are still there.. buried under the tallest tower in Boswell..

Here's a before/after of Capistrano Coaster downtown station. I made some changes based upon feedback received.

Now that is a killer transformation! When can we expect a NAM 33/34 rebuild of your legendary spaghetti?

Thanks and ironically that's exactly what I've been working on the last couple of days. To tell you the truth I got complacent, after all the hours I spent making that thing I didn't think I could possibly make it better. So instead, after the new NAM came out I continued to work on several other interchanges that I hadn't yet fully converted from the old maxis versions. I've hit a road block with many them though because after expending their footprints I've had to deal with grade changes that can't easily be fixed without destroying wide swaths of development. And we all know uneven ground and RHW go together like oil and water. It only hit me after already entering my submissions in the NAM challenge to see what I could do on an interchange that I had recently(within the last year) rebuilt. Boy was I ever wrong about thinking I couldn't make any improvements to the old design, the things that we can now do with the latest NAM are just ridiculous! On top of that with the stability improvements and the use of the disconnector I can make the same amount of progress in a hour as what would of took me nearly a day before. Anyhow I should be done with the rebuild before then, but expect an update on the new version sometime in February. ;)

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.
