Two gifs i created to show the growth in my current city. The large area of development that suddenly appears on the right was all done in two days and so just appears. I have since grown further east and south.

Nope. I justopen a new tile and just save and exit without starting any cities in it.

The first pic was before I deleted a lot of mid sized offices and rezoned to get some of the biggest buildings in the game. I now have 2 Van Proojieen trading and 1 Calahane Communications.

Definitely an improvement - not only in terms of bigger buildings, but also because it adds building variety and helps to make that Hancock Center landmark less isolated.

First is of a different city in its infancy. It took a while to really get going and I was a little worried it wasn't going to take off but it finally went somewhere. Surprisingly it is my only city in the region with a Fisk Insurance. The city only has about 100,000 residents and 39,000 commercial jobs so there is definitely room for improvement. Third picture is the most recent one, the city has really come a long way.

I´ve been digging trough some old SC4 pictures from 2013-onwards when I started adding custom content to the game, and boy has the change been radical!

First there's the original scene from West Aurora's Centro Urbano in 2014

Clearing the unfilled area and some buildings, I also changed that diagonal street for a NAM sweeping curve. At first I intended to build a small path with trees going between the buildings...

Zoom out...some redevelopment coming along...

And fast forward to 2015, I decided to get rid of all those buildings and make a big park: West Aurora's Jardín Central (Central Garden), you can also see on the upper left that I upgraded the Town Hall and created a plaza: Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Town Hall Plaza); I also made those diagonal owr's on the lower right look better and upgraded the Mayor's statue. Also, you can see a lot of the original buildings were redeveloped.

And this isn't even how the area currently looks like, I'll show a 2016-2017 before/after later, when I finish the area... maybe I'll even make a GIF if I learn how.
