My latest tile.  For some reason I have anxiety about drawing roads in the large flat blank areas to the left.  Also, don't know what to do with my GLR in the top right.  One of my goals for this city is to make more use of the NWM networks.  Trying out larger block sizes and trying to emulate Detroit a bit with wide roads and freeways everywhere.

Yo, guy --

That is some seriously good MMP work !  *:thumb:  *:thumb:

  Since my cities have gotten more "green", the attention to the "landscaping" is waaaay more work than actually building the city.  After two or three days of solid landscaping, I generally hit a "burn-out" plateau.

Thank you. Landscaping is gruelling but once an MMP scheme is found the work becomes quicker. What I do is use the tree controller and plant trees where appropriate based on terrain and it textures, then I use MMPs to create undergrowth in the woodland areas.

Nice layout! Good to see a diagonal bridge in there as well.

Hi Mr. @Barroco Hispano

There is any place where you store the finished projects you are doing? I'm interested on the trees you do. Are very good projects.

Just a quick note to report a new version of my UI blue skin mod. And we say thank you to Raymond7cn, it is because of him that I am making this fix! *:thumb:

What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!

@ohdude It would take 30 minutes to export a single tree to the game, so I must buy a new PC ($ 1700 - $ 2500 before taxes) but right now I don't have that amount.

<SNIP>

Are the LODs all properly sized and fitted and can this be done in GMAX? I know you're using 3dsMax and I still want to offer some rendering time on my PC. I just don't have 3dsMax...

Have been playing around with Color Lookup Tables and Actions in Photoshop - one of the more promising results.

This city was grown without interventions - I'm always amused by the tendency to build twins

Nice!! Does that mean we're finally getting some neocolonial/californian style houses for SC4? Those were actually pretty popular in some parts of Mexico City in both middle and upper class neighborhoods

Chido! I love the design of the top of the building. It does recall the ancient mayan ceremonial centers. As with many of your buildings, it will surely find a place in my skyline

Freshly uploaded. 9x3 Landmark. The building has no props or base textures, so you can use it anywhere you like.

I'm almost done, but the tile roof was too wide and there was also some texture issues with it. The first method I used was a box with tile roof texture mapped to it. I decide to try making 3d models of tiles and make a roof from them. I like the 3d model method so much better, it is way easier to deal with.
