In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

variations with two versions

AGC ... what talent! The small variation of vertical light, depending on the relief... huuum ! I also noticed the texture in the "waste" bin... that's interesting too! I adore !

What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!

Three regions in One !?!

UK there are several regions available ! London Maxis - Satelite version- Manchester-Liverpool. Some Scotish and Irish maps and the here featured Solent area of Bournemouth to Portsmouth ! These are quit compact and overlap or complete each other specialy the Solent region. Bournemouth-Poole as coastal town with some ferry service is a very nice starter region with a mostly suburban feeling and the terminal for cross channel and channel islands service from Poole. Portsmouth famous for the Royal Navy docks, Isle of Wight ferries. Southhampton comprise harbour for commerciall cargo and cruiseship and cross channel routes offer most varitety !

Bournemouth-Poole

Portsmouth

Versitile the Solent region offer every thing and both more ore less and a greater surrounding area !

The winner in this comparison clearly ! Bournemouth may be seen as a extension in the left corner. Portsmouth and Gosport instead of smaller medium tiles offer more ferry routes. That said as start up or test or dioramic the first still have some use, the focus will be to have some infra on in the last !

Enjoy !

I've been extremely busy with work (three jobs!) and uni, but I finally found some time to decorate a hillside I've left barren, intending to decorate with gardens… when I founded this city, 200 in-game years ago. Anyway, better late than never! (I still have so much more to go)

That large building on the right with the purple trees, is that whole bat available for upload somewhere?  That is beautiful!    If someone can provide the link, that would be appreciated.  If it hasn't been released yet, I can't wait 'til it is.  Great work!

That beautiful building is the Orangerie that comes within the BSC Parks Collection, I think, and there's a bunch of other very beautiful buildings there.

Note that the Jacarandas do not come with the building —they're part of some other flora pack —actual link is below, thanks to @kergelen. In any case, you can plop them in the open green spaces of the building (or the surrounding park). It's great for sprucing up (pun intended) parks and buildings, though arguably having a subtropical tree outside defeats the purpose of building an orangerie in the first place.
