I've recently been working on sort of an expansion to the PEG Tahoe water by creating new MMP's with different colors. Since I'm really not an expert in making graphics, I just simply directly edited the FSH files by altering the colors of the water MMP's directly, and put them back into the game. I've thus created 12 new MMP's, sometimes with very interesting water colors; partly I wanted to have additional shades of blue water, partly just for fun.

All of these colors are based on real-life locations on the earth, with the reasons being bright or shadowy location and various minerals (e.g. in volcanic areas) or organic materials (such as during algae bloom or being close to a mire) dissolved in water.

However, there's a little something I'd like to ask for help: Pegasus' Tahoe-style water only has a slight noise effect on it, but I'd like to add a slight wave effect on it. I only have GIMP and Inkscape. I've been able to apply a noise filter in GIMP, but I do not know how to add a wave effect. If one of you could help me with that, that would really be great. Of all the water MMP's available online, I prefer the wave effect on Diggis' water system, I'd like something similar, not parallel waves (the game just randomly chooses the rotation of an MMP, anyway) or too strong waves. Here's an in-game picture from my CJ:

Try to export the FSH file of the 1x1 water section of the Daggis Pond, edit it using GIMP to change the color (i only use photoshop, but i think GIMP has a colorize button, use it to change the color while keeping the texture), save it and then apply that new texture on the MMPs you're editing.

look, a quick edit using photoshop shows you can change the color but keep the daggis wavy texture:

look at the #10 version below

I thought about doing that, too, but unfortunately, sharing it may violate forum rules because I'm modifying other people's content. I'll do it for just myself if I can't find another way, but I'm definitely thinking of creating something that I could share.

Just check with the site staff- they are generally ok with something like this being done in good faith. They may still say no, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Not sure if anyone would have any interest in a prop pack like this, just some minor parking lot/lawn clutter as props if you really like to get into lot editor details:

I would find it very useful tbh! Would add some sauce to some filler LOTs and industrial/dirty area

Yellow and Con-Way uses @MushyMushy truck props. Ironically both are defunct now.

also Linfox out of Australia and a Walmart one that I just exported.

Can you make an unbranded one in the series with red brick texture and grey roof? That would fit any old city. *:)

One corner of the map probably definitely done.

A map with areas to be completed, Texture-MMP experiments and possible future developments.
