@Goldman Sachs

I tend to agree with @twrecks .  While the wartime battleship construction of the US Navy produced powerful warships, they could not really be called "handsome" or "graceful".  I Think the last beautiful battleships produced in US yards were those of the Tennessee Class with their long, and sleek Atlantic-style "clipper bows".

And, as has been pointed out, your model is -- as always -- highly detailed and accurate.  A "thing of beauty", in and of, itself !!

I am, of course, itching to see these i

n the game...... *:D

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

@mattb325 I've actually borrowed that spinning prop for tunnel ventilation. About the closest thing in the game to tunnel ventilation.

From the mesh to the district on the roundabout.
The small district "under the oak" has 12 terraced houses on 2x2 fields.
Housing optimization pure.....*;)

A little more progress has revealed a small texture error (easy fix) and a need for several additional lots. I'm very excited at how closely the taxiways are lining up to the originals. My texture work isn't as good but I'm mostly happy with them regardless. The runway end below was created with 5 lots, while the sixth (on the far side, with no taxiway intersection) hasn't been created yet.

These are going to be fairly complex puzzle pieces to arrange though I will do my best to arrange them neatly in the menu and provide as many helper props and how-to's as I'm able.

At this point, it doesn't look like the 3-way crossing will be possible as shown in the previous pic. Not a huge loss, imho.

Great work ! Diagonal runway's, landing and taking of aircraft air piece would make it completely  awesome, still long way to go, well done !

Ah, YES !!!

"The Mighty Hood" !

Truly beautiful modelling, my friend !!  Perhaps the finest example of Jackie Fisher's fatally flawed dream.

WHEN -- !! -- ??????

This "MUST HAVE" stuff, guy.

Just some very basic, but new-build, R$ terraces houses. Sometimes R$ areas need a bit of love, but not too much....

Those commodores look great, pclark06. Although many may not believe me, once upon a time, Australia's economy did things apart from clearing forests and digging stuff up out of the ground.*:P

@mattb325 The second one was a Lotus Carlton actually and the first was a Chevy Blazer! Here are some of the Commodores I am doing:

96 HSV GTS, based on the Holden Commodore VN of that era.

85 Holden Commodore, based on the HDT blue livery.

I watch the Aussie touring cars sometimes and I love the sounds, and the history, lol. There's nothing in the world like the Bathurst 1000. I also have the '88 Group A done, I plan on a '91, and a 2012 HSV Clubsport as well.
