Amazing.  I love the helicopter port.  Are the seawalls custom or do they already exist out there somewhere?

If the house has a decent heating, there's enough food to cook something nice once in a while, it has (satellite?) Internet and I can bring my notebook and a few boxes of wine... count me in for a few months! *

No internet, no phone ..... but plenty of time to read, write and make music. So nothing, I'm afraid ... *

PS: You can then send the wine by post  *:8)

I love those buildings, did you make them or do you have a link to download?!?  And I have been working on a similar waterfront area, trying to get to where I can upload some pics...

The port authority with the lighthouse in the new port of the city Gdansk in Poland. It takes a few hours of work to finish it.

More work on the hydro dam.  Not sure if I should go with the curved (right) or straight (left) transition between support wall and PEG dam. Anyone have a strong favorite?

Also, not totally loving the curved walls on the upper seawall, and the sharp corner on the lower.  I might switch to alternate  where rounded corners are possible (suggestions?)

I think the right side overall looks much better.  I'm going to redo the entire dam in that style.

I personally like the straight transition as it is simple and looks finished.  The curved sides start out nice as they follow the curved wall but then angle away again and do not seem to convincingly follow the curvature... they sort of just hang there.   I find curves really hard to work with myself and do not do anything near this complex!  I also do not find the curved v. square to be an issue but you could try letting the concrete be all one color in that area, more toward the darker concrete of the Paris walls?  Might blend it together more.  Beautiful job though :)

Detroit-1541734955.png.148cb8a85d4577401719fb210223f662.pngDetroit-1541735009.png.4c11785c16ab34bac4dba48f9bbc4a00.png

So I've decided to move away from plopping buildings in my Detroit suburbs re-creation and instead have been working on the road, rail, and power infrastructure.  I've ran into a problem that I'm not sure what I'm going to do about, one being Michigan Ave.  if you are familiar with Michigan; Michigan Ave. runs at an angle from downtown Detroit through the western suburbs and beyond. The angles that are with the vanilla game are too sharp, so FAR will have to do. The problem is Michigan ave is an avenue. There is no FAR that I can use that has the ability to connect to other networks. Also, if I use FAR, buildings and zones dont meet up with the road, so they would become abandoned almost instantly. An example this section of Wayne Rd. 5bf076d9d057e_waynerd.jpg.84fddbd8eb7db6147dc83a4e81e8efd9.jpg

Here's a quick update on the region I'm working on. Right now the main objective is to get my east coast cities done but even when that's finished I'll have many more options as to what to go for next.
