@Simmer2 Those train cars and containers look awesome , but I don't know if the stacked cars will fit through a tunnel portal . :???: They really do look nice though .

@tonyr That waterfront looks fabulous . :thumb:

I'm currently working on the Haverkamp neighborhood in the capital of New Scotland, Dumfries.

ENr8iYg.png

Located in downtown Dumfries, Haverkamp was designed by South African expat Maarten Haverkamp in the early 1900s. The district became home to one of the largest Dutch/Afrikaans-speaking populations in the United States, with roughly 67.5% of the neighborhoods residents tracing their ancestry back to the Netherlands or South Africa. The district's western side, mostly along West Street, is home to a large student population due to its close proximity to New Scotland University.

That locomotive looks cool! Awesome job with the container lots, especially because you added new brands that are very present here in European ports. I'm sure I'll use that Maersk Sealand, Hamburg Süd and "K" Line containers a lot! :thumb:

Those are rail props!? That's a really absurd new level of realism! Now the RRW doesn't look so real anymore...

Miami meets Hong Kong? :D In any case, that's some neat traffic layout! Love the smooth ramps and bridges. If this was real, I'd be sad that the coast line is so full of skyscrapers and the little islands disappear under a highway, but it sure is an interesting scenario for SimCity. :)

Currently working on developing my first attempt at a 3 stacked roundabout. This was my 2nd attempt at anything with the RHW and pretty pleased about it.

This will act as a main thoroughfare to cities beyond on all 4 sides so they can easily get there quickly. I am not sure what to do with developing this area, whether to leave it small scale with a small town here and there or go full on and develop a grid system with residential, industry and commercial.

"We live in a era where our cities are armed with steel and concrete. Computers and electronics barricade our minds. It doesn’t change the fact that there exists a lot of strange phenomena, bizzare beyond reason or logic. Most folks just don’t see them, that’s because we cling to order to any tiny happiness that comes our way and we bust our humps to blind ourselves with our desires and our pleasures. There’s a world of darkness out there. Beyond time or space. A world filled with evil that is undeniably real and in that world there are things that run wild!”

@Artimus Wow, that is really well-looking! Is this a special beach mod, or did you paint it with some MMP's? I'd really like to know, this is something I've been missing for a long time - a way to make a beach like this. Also, the transition with feather grass, bushes and plants looks well.

Well, @11241036 the beachhead is either part of the terrain mod I am using, which is the Pyrenean terrain mod, and/or a white beach texture I got off at the Simtropolis Exchange. Im also glad that you like it as well!

@Dreadnought where'd you get the ploppable seaplane?

That's either Paeng's Island Air -- or -- Paeng's Pond Air.  (Probably Island Air.)  Should be on either LEX or STEX.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !
