What I meant was... It would be a shame to lose a batter like him. He bats really fast, and really good... and he definetly found a style in NYC bats. But, lately, all his bats are based on the same style of buildings, and that might cause some depress just because of the fact that all looks alike. So, maybe, having a different project, can give him a new sense of batting options... when I mean a project... Im talking about a differen part of town, maybe, as I posted before, some buildings from downtown Brooklyn... maybe, creating the Yankees Stadium... or simply, going for a midtown skyscraper such as city spire... something from Times Square... NOW THAT WOULD BE AWESOME... seeing one of the finest new york Batters going for something in Times Square...

Just a thought... =)

You're doing great job Aaron. And about not wanting to BAT anymore... Well, been there, done that :) What worked for me was taking a step back. Leave bating for a moment (month, two, five) and come back when you feel you want to do it again. Because there's no fun if you feel that you should bat but you don't really want to :)

"Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future? Americans care about their past, but for short term gain they ignore it and tear down everything that matters. Maybe… this is the time to take a stand, to reverse the tide, so that we won't all end up in a uniform world of steel and glass boxes." - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

    edwardjeria- Thank you!!! :D

MTT9- Yeah, that could work. :D

T Wrecks- I think that would be a great idea, for me to play the game, and when I feel something the game needs I can bat some more.

cmdp123789- That could be true to bat something that is a challenge, but buildings I have made that are large have not been finished. Building like the Trasportation Building and Beekman Hotel Tower is not yet finished.

I think losing a batter like me would be a great loss.

PBGV103- You can look for something, but I bet it will be something that will be huge. :D

jaredh- I love residentials I think I can not run away from it, but I do need to work on the office buildigs I have planned to make.

Seraf- Lol, I could just take a brake from batting and that could help out, because I have worked myself last year. :)

    Looks good. :thumb:

Do something-else is also very good for the spirit, if you feel like being at work when you BAT you will end up bored.

When I find I get bored or frustrated with BATing, I like to work on more personal projects in max that don't have anything to do with Simcity. More artwork than anything else, it's more relaxing and fun for me after spending so much time in orthographic views. That's just what I do.

I just hope that if you do take a break that you definitely come back :P You will be sorely missed in the time you are gone but if your hobby is a chore it is no longer worth doing.

Well, I think I'm back. I'm at a point that I do not want to bat anymore, but here's an update on 65 E. 193 Street. :(

I think my morale is so low right now and it needs to be brought up. :(

    Hi.

Sometimes taking a break is good.  I've been gone myself for while, came back and noticed how prolific you've been...  I'm very impressed with the quality AND quantity of your BATs.  Batting definitely can get tiring after a while (especially when your almost at the end of a BAT), and if you don't feel like doing it, just wait a little bit, walk around the city, look at the buildings and find the inspiration to come back.

Very interesting work Aaron. :) I love that central wing of the building. The "E" shape is really neat. I don't think we have a lot of "E" shaped NY buildings BATed aside from the "H" plan structures.

Come to think of it, that's true. Maybe that explains why I liked that building the first time I saw it. I like this particular building height, too.
