I was having CJs back in the days when there was no reputation stuff around here ... or a dedicated CJ fuction... so to say when CJs were normal forum topics

I'm tempted to say I was hosting CJs when the internet was still dial-up-modem driven, but that would be exaggerated I guess

How did you post a picture of your user information tile (or whatever you would call that) showing 5,000 posts while displaying exactly 5,000 posts on it right now, which would mean that that post was your #5,000 post, thus in theory preventing the display of this number?

Are posts not being counted in this section?

You don't seem to have edited the post either, at least nothing shows up.

Or did you link to a placeholder picture and then replace the placeholder with the actual picture?

1. Making post #5,000
2. Capturing the screenshot
3. Uploading the image
4. Editing post to add the image

 

The post edit notification will only show if the "Show 'Edit by' line" option is checked:

Lol, I hosted my first City Journal when reputation points were still not implemented, though that was only like a year or two ago since they changed that and I never really got into Simtropolis 'til 2009, and we hadn't had a dial-up connection then unless we ran out of allocated data

On today, October 17 2013, I'm member of SimTropolis for six years! Geez, that is a long time, if you take the following into account:

- SimTropolis exists for about ten and a half years. This means that I have been member of Simtropolis for more than half of the time this site exists.

- Of those six years, I'm moderator for about one and a half years.

- I've been involved in the NAM Team for about four years.

- I am 21 now, and I registered when I was 15. This means that I've been member of SimTropolis for a quarter of my entire life!

- Back in the day, I still had a data limit of 250MB/month, so I was very cautious with downloads. Now it's virtually unlimited.

- Back in the day, I was still in the fourth grade of secondary school. Now, I have my BSc in Civil Engineering and I'm now working on my Master degree. Why did I choose for Civil Engineering? SimCity 4 pushed me towards it. Thanks Simtroplis!

4 days ago was the 3 year mark of the registration of crazyllamasim, renamed on Christmas Eve in 2012 as Mr Saturn64.
