NDEX RailtoSubway Transition 2

With the advent of the Network Addon Mod and other transportation type lots, SC4 has gone to yet another level. I really hope that the Marrast underpasses and the other Japanese lots like them will finally appear as a result of this epic discovery. Thank you s-o-o-o-o much!!

Tested. It WORKS PERFECTLY, and that's what counts. A minor visual thing though: The shadow looks weird, it's cast in exactly the opposite direction of all other buildings. That'll make 9.5, rounded up to 10.

Folks, if you want to create the illusion that your above ground passenger trains are going through the subways, download one of those train packs for both passenger train and subway/el-train. I have, and it's quite believable.

I don't personally see doing a custom el-train-to-rail lot as serving any visual function (UDI-wise) but I suppose we could do one for the model alone. There'd be no point in pathing it, because you couldn't get the train to go from el-rail right onto the passrail and keep going.

cool! how about a monorail to subway? Or, you could maybe make a tunnel lot that goes as fast as a monorail...but anyway! nice job!

Equinox, what could be done is a rail-to-el transition with a train shed over it. I don't know if the animations could be timed right, but if they were, you would have the rail train disappear into the shed at one end, and the el train emerge from the other end (and vice-versa).

(continued) A longer lot with a gradual climb and a long shed would make it visually appealing...especially if the thing could act as a station (in which case, the disappearing animations wouldn't be as big a deal).
