New York (Maxis) Complete Region as 4 x 4 Large City Tiles 1.0

@CorinaMarie - Any chance you have resized version of all the other Maxis region maps? I just love your creation here. Makes it so much easier to manage 16 super large map tiles vs. 50+ medium/small tiles in a region.

@ASV7900 - I've only done this New York one and Timbuktu Too, but others could be made.

Make a list in the order you'd like to see them get created and I'll pass this on to @Cyclone Boom who is willing to do the work. (My real life is quite busy and complicated atm.)

@CorinaMarie @Cyclone Boom - You two are the absolute best! I really love your contest, and using it when playing SC4.

I've got the other 4 in the pipeline and so I plan to upload those also over the coming days.

Can't get it to work on Mac.

It should be fine. There's nothing inherent in a region that would be OS dependent other than once saved on a Mac it becomes a 64-bit file that PC users cannot open.

I don’t think it’s the file. I think I just don’t know how to insert it. If I create a folder and put it in it doesn’t show in game and if I replace it with an existing one it doesn’t change the tiles in that region other. I’m in the regions folder. Maybe there’s a certain way to insert it Mac? Thanks for your help. 

Let's try this then:

Go into the game and from the region screen, select the option to create a New Region. Name it Cori's Test. Then quit the game and see if you can find a folder called that.

If that works, unzip the contents of the New York region into that folder letting it overwrite the config.bmp and region.ini files. (You'll be putting in all the files ending with .sc4 too.) And then rename the folder itself to your liking.

I didn't show up by normal click folder search  in the region folder, Which had me in circles at first but then I typed it in finder and it showed up alone that way and doing your steps worked.  Thank you for your help!
