About This File

Did you ever built famous monuments in your city? Did you watch in front of them and worried something's looking wrong?

Where are the tourists?

Don't worry any longer. Now they come. With busses. And more busses. And even more busses.

Just plop these two lots (each 2x5) left and right of your monuments. Or west and east. Or ... don't know.

Each lot costs $200 to plop and has a monthly maintenance cost of $15. Both are transit enabled (to connect them with roads) and they work as parking lots (8000 each).

They produce – yippie ki-yay – tons of garbage, water and air pollution and, of course, masses of mass tourism.

Dependencies (7+1):

BSC Textures Vol 01.dat

BSC Textures Vol 02.dat

Glenni Bus Props Pack

MS Solaris Vacanza 12 & InterUrbino 12

BSC MEGA Props - Misc Vol01.dat

Murimk_Props_Vol02_v201

Was_NL_Props_Vol01.dat

As these lots are transit enabled I recommend also to use

SC4Fix

Installation

If you made sure you have all required dependencies simply extract the zip to your plugins folder.

Very nice ! Pity the little pink cafe doesn't hold up at this zoom resolution (especially since the brown one fares better). Perhaps another more HD piece ?

I love the idea, but you could do with slightly less dependencies. :)

The lots can't reflect how hard it was to realize the idear. First I tried to make a diagonal parking - I'm a big fan of andreas parking set.  But I didn't find enough diagonal bus props for variety. For example I had to discover that the bus props in this package aren't exactly 45 degrees and didn't fit. Then I tried orthogonal parking and played with almost every parking texture set available - but they are all ment for car parking - the busses overlap too much. I ended up with two different texture packs - that bugs me too.

Well murimks props are needed only for the green park fences on the back. It's a reminiscence to paeng parks, some kind of a quote. Both last prop packs, murimk and swietwoot will be featured on my next upload. So one could regard this upload as an appetizer for some really, really big things coming in the near future. :ohyes:

I'm sure some people here would have been more than happy to whip up a few textures for you, myself included.

Anyways, I have to commend for the lot, and because you used some props that even I was unaware of. Props are an order... (:sly:)

Shure ... wow ... thank you! You should make these! Do you mind looking at the motokloss parking set, I was talking about earlier. The two tiled diagonals, you can plop in between two one way roads, I think thats a great idear, but sadly it is an entire prop and no texture and it isn't exactly 45 degrees. So you can't make  further use of it.

Or one tile road side parkings, perhaps parallel and orthogonal to the street for busses (again there are only few diagonal bus props). Would be really great. If you do the textures I'll do some lots.

But, personally I think, such few textures should be included in a bigger package, not as a standalone dependency. I would have done such textures (Magneto lent me a small ID range), but I was afraid to make another ultra small dependency with only four or five textures in it. In my opinion it's much better to collect textures into "mega packs". For users - it makes things easier. Maybe you could ad them to your essentials? Now I'm into lotting, but I hope to get further, next I want to learn how to create animations and props. Then, perhaps, I'll make my own dependency pack. But this won't be near future.

Again, thanks for the kindness.

Hello @Fantozzi,

Very nice lots, can't wait to see them in action. I did plop them to check them out and I noticed a hidden picture on each of the lots. In the west and south views the hidden prop pictures show and in the east view a shadow remains from the hidden prop pictures. It is clearly out of place going through the lamp posts and shifts around with view change.

North view, all is good on both lots.

East view the hidden pictures come into view. Circled

South View the pictures move a little and go through the street light. Circled

East view has the remaining shadows from the hidden pictures. Circled

Why, now I have to hid the back of the lot so I can't see them. Or may be you can remove them since you won with the this entry? Please. Anyways it's an awesome lot and I do appreciate the work that went into these lots. I tested it may times and with a clean plugins folder, just the dependencies, NAM, SC4fix and SimCity 4 Extra Cheats.

Also, on Lot A, one of the driveways is not TE. No mater how I place it. The other three drives are ok.

If there is something I'm over looking or missed, please forgive me. I really do like the lots (using as is for now) and hope that you may have the time to take a look at them. I would like to give you 5 stars.

Thank you,
