    This is my relot of the LBT's Zamora General Hospital. I liked the building, it was a good size and works well in almost any city type. It was originally only made for my personal use, and such is a little dependency heavy, with some from non-English sites, including the model itself. The lot is more intended for a Tropical/Sub-tropical environment with the many palm trees and other tropical plants. To get the model it is located at Capital Simcity , you will only need the Zamora General Hospital model file, made by the LBT.     Hello everyone and thank you for downloading my lot/s. This time I created a much needed freight yard more suited for farming regions. It could also be placed in any industrial settings if you wish. SM2 cnut Grain Shipping. Just like its namesake, it is a grain shipping facility. Farmers bring their grains, (wheat, barley, corn, oats and so on), on trucks which are then weighted on drive on scales. Grains are then vacuumed from the open trucks and are sorted and stored in their appropriate silos. Grains are then pumped into specially made train cars and shipped to mills where they are turned into flour, corn starch, cereals etc. This lot will also allow passenger trains to go through it so you will see both type of trains traverse it. Lot size 14X10 Capacity 30,200 tons. Jobs 38 It will required water and power to run. As usual, textures are custom made and included, I also made 3 new props for this lot and they are included as well.     Results Announced Here! Lotting Challenge Create any Lot to be used in SimCity 4 Season 3 - Challenge #03 - Custom Content (31 days) Thanks to @kingofsimcity for the challenge idea. Selecting props and textures, and positioning them in a methodical and organised way. Lotting is an art. An art sometimes overshadowed by the many wonders in the BATting world. But in SC4, lotting plays an integral part to any great item of content. It is a skill which is tricky to master, but when done right, adds so much aesthetic value. A Lot allows an idea to be transformed and presented in a new form of content. There have been so many examples of lotting over the past 13 years, but now it's your turn... Welcome to the first ever Simtropolis Custom Content Challenge! This challenge is all about creativity. We'd like you to develop any single Lot which can be used in the game. It can be any type, shape or size, and have an unlimited selection of dependencies. Although for obvious reasons, we suggest to keep this reasonable. Of course, the obvious tool of choice would be the Lot Editor by Maxis. However, an alternative would be to use the PIM-X, which includes its own advanced editor for creating lots. This can be downloaded from the LEX, and there's also a user guide linked in the description. The choice is yours, and it's really what you feel most comfortable with. In terms of the lotting, the rules are completely open. Use any means or technique to create anything to your heart's desire. We only ask that the Lot functions in game, such as a ploppable or growable. A screenshot must be taken showing the Lot built in the game. Specifications The Lot can be of any size, type, style or use any technique. Dependencies (buildings, textures, props) are not a requirement, but are highly recommended to give added detail. Any number of dependencies can be used, which are available to download from a public exchange (e.g. STEX, LEX). This Custom Content challenge will run for 31 days. Requirements To qualify for entry, please ensure your entry complies with the following requirements: This challenge is only open to SimCity 4 Deluxe / Rush Hour. The Lot must be an original piece of content (created by yourself), and not previously released on the STEX or other public exchange. Only a single, standalone Lot is submitted. The Lot is created using the Lot Editor or SC4 PIM (X-Tool). The Lot functions in game (i.e. it works!) New Leaderboard System As mentioned in the announcement topic, this season will be using a brand new leaderboard system. Each challenge will award points to all participants, based on your placing. The higher the position you come, the more points you'll receive. It also gives an extra incentive to take part, even if you don't reach the podium. Then at the end of the season, prizes will be awarded based on your overall standing. Full details and the current standings can be viewed in the following topic: Voting Voting will start on the 1st of August, an announcement will be made when that is available. Like with the city-building challenges, votes will be cast by rating images inside the album. You may rate any image you wish at any rating you wish. Try to rate as many as you can as this will help the album ordering. The winners will be the top 3 ranked images after a 12 day voting period. Reputation prizes will be awarded based on the number of entries, and the overall average rating. See this topic for more info. For this Custom Content challenge, rep prizes will be distributed slightly differently. This time the top 5 placed entries will earn reputation, along with points for the "Overall" and "Monthly & Custom Content" leaderboards. As this is a longer challenge, the amount of rep and points will be greater. This isn't quite the same as the one you saw in my CJ, I made it more user friendly. The old one had like 30+ dependencies so I trimmed it down quite a bit so you won't be sitting here all night downloading things..     English Lat Am Reward Lots presents the first upload in a series of fully functional reward lots: The Mayor's Villa. Haven't you ever felt the original Mayor's House was kind of underwhelming? On the other hand, this beautiful house was designed by the one and only Debussyman, and now it's presented to the mayors of Simtropolis as an enhanced alternative to the original one; consequently, it costs more and has more conditions attached to it, but it also gives more benefits than the original. In addition to greater Landmark and Park effects, this lot offers a few civic jobs. This is not a replacement lot, so you can have both houses coexist in one city tile if you so desire.     Seems like you will be getting another modern high-tech facility related to space research... For many centuries, Sims from all regions have been asking themselves what would be beyond the abyss, deep in the neverending space of the blue-checkered sky. One of the most common myths was about a planet called Earth where whimsical things happen: The planet would be round, there is no grid to which roads have to orientate and all Sims could pass to another city without paying attention to the yellow arrow. Of course, nowadays, everyone knows that this is past-days nonsense: There is no place called Earth. Nevertheless, even today scientists are occupied with the search for extraterrestrical intelligence. Therefore, they have asked the mayor for permission to erect this research station. Its huge dish is supposed to receive electromagnetic signs from the space which in turn will be analyzed in the central grey building. This device is only accessible for especially trained personnel, hence it is surrounded by a security fence and the entrance is guarded. Due to the utilisation of highly modern technology, environment pollution is kept low and the local high-tech industry will be happy about lots of manufacturing orders issued to them; however, this does also mean that this research station consumes a good amount of power. In return, the entire city’s population benefits from the knowledge gained from the research, regardless if aliens are being detected or not.     This Lot I made for the Sim Mars Project. I call it the Mars_Command_Center. essentually this is the base of operations for each colonly. I have placed it in the parks menu because I could not find another suitiable menu to place it. Keeping true to the game outpost 1 and outpost2 from which this idea came from and from my Sim Mars City Journal this lot is suppose to be the first lot placed as this is where the commands come from to run each base. In order to view this lot as it is you will need Mars Mod Beta3 and My Mars prop pack from the Stex. All props and base and overlay textures except the main building were from the Mars Mod.     Did you ever built famous monuments in your city? Did you watch in front of them and worried something's looking wrong? Where are the tourists? Don't worry any longer. Now they come. With busses. And more busses. And even more busses. Just plop these two lots (each 2x5) left and right of your monuments. Or west and east. Or ... don't know. Each lot costs $200 to plop and has a monthly maintenance cost of $15. Both are transit enabled (to connect them with roads) and they work as parking lots (8000 each). Selecting props and textures, and positioning them in a methodical and organised way. Lotting is an art. An art sometimes overshadowed by the many wonders in the BATting world. But in SC4, lotting plays an integral part to any great item of content. It is a skill which is tricky to master, but when done right, adds so much aesthetic value. A Lot allows an idea to be transformed and presented in a new form of content. There have been so many examples of lotting over the past 13 years, but now it's your turn... Welcome to the first ever Simtropolis Custom Content Challenge! This challenge is all about creativity. We'd like you to develop any single Lot which can be used in the game. It can be any type, shape or size, and have an unlimited selection of dependencies. Although for obvious reasons, we suggest to keep this reasonable. Of course, the obvious tool of choice would be the Lot Editor by Maxis. However, an alternative would be to use the PIM-X, which includes its own advanced editor for creating lots. This can be downloaded from the LEX, and there's also a user guide linked in the description. The choice is yours, and it's really what you feel most comfortable with. In terms of the lotting, the rules are completely open. Use any means or technique to create anything to your heart's desire. We only ask that the Lot functions in game, such as a ploppable or growable. A screenshot must be taken showing the Lot built in the game. Specifications The Lot can be of any size, type, style or use any technique. Dependencies (buildings, textures, props) are not a requirement, but are highly recommended to give added detail. Any number of dependencies can be used, which are available to download from a public exchange (e.g. STEX, LEX). This Custom Content challenge will run for 31 days. Requirements To qualify for entry, please ensure your entry complies with the following requirements: This challenge is only open to SimCity 4 Deluxe / Rush Hour. The Lot must be an original piece of content (created by yourself), and not previously released on the STEX or other public exchange. Only a single, standalone Lot is submitted. The Lot is created using the Lot Editor or SC4 PIM (X-Tool). The Lot functions in game (i.e. it works!) New Leaderboard System As mentioned in the announcement topic, this season will be using a brand new leaderboard system. Each challenge will award points to all participants, based on your placing. The higher the position you come, the more points you'll receive. It also gives an extra incentive to take part, even if you don't reach the podium.
