About This File

This is a fictional depiction of a gas station to add some more variety to the game.  Although Maxis made its gas station medium wealth, I made this one low wealth, as I can't understand how a gas station could possibly be anything more.  The building stats are similar to the Maxis version.  The color scheme, but not the model itself, is based on the original "Pump and Scoot" gas station from SimCity 3000.  The architecture is done in the "googie" style.

This is a 2x2 Cs$ lot and will only grow on a corner.  Included in the package is a sign prop which is needed for the lot to function properly in the game.  When the file is unzipped, the prop will unzip into its own subfolder.

The lot has the following stats:

Cool! I had never heard of 'Googie' Architecture. We get a great building and we get to learn something. Thanks! 5/5

I love buildings like this that work anywhere and without any dependencies (which has become rare of late).

It's so good to have you back, and it's also good to have an old-style gas station! They are very hard to find, and yet they are so useful. This one's right up my alley, too! Thank you very much for sharing! :)
