Some of the lots in this download are corrupted and may cause CTDs when growing. Either way they probably won't grow.

For the moment please use the download from this forum post instead:

This entry will be updated once a true dependency list has been deciphered for them.

About This File

This contemporary condominium set includes 14 lots, each including landscaping unique from one another. The only similarity is that each of the 14 lots will use one of the 4 HD house BATs. Either red, green, blue, or taupe. These houses are the first of their kind for SimCity 4, it's been a decade too long in my oppinion without modern suburban houses from your typical North American suburb in SC4.

Please be sure to download all the dependencies for the best experience with this BAT/lot set. The list of what you need is in the installer, I can guarantee you won't miss it (even if you wanted to, it's the licence agreement). Just in case though, the dependency list is included below. If you still do encounter problems, such as not seeing the lots grow, you can always plop them yourself with the extra cheats DLL which can be found in a multitude of areas on this and other websites.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do, as I'm sure you can tell, I put a lot of hard work into these BATs and an equal amount into the lots. I hope that can be reflected upon you; I'm most certain you won't be dissapointed!

Can you message me a picture of the issue? There a lot of gardens and whatnot in this lot/BAT set, so pictures would help.

I've had my eye on these for a long time, knowing my current region would eventually get use of these. Well that day is finally here and I am happy to say I am in the process of downloading the dependencies and look forward to having these in my game. Excellent work, Bipin! :D

I've been watching these on the Bipin BAT thread on SC4D for a while, and have been waiting for a time when I would need them That time has finally arrived and I certainly ain't disappointed. 5/5. Top quality. A quick note for anybody whinging on about the amount of Dependancies.... get a life!

I appreciate the effort that you put into these. However, the number of dependencies IS a problem (and I don't read french). Maybe if you had included the dependencies as part of the .exe so that they are downloaded automatically I would have rated this a 5. I have to agree with a 3.

The two sc4devotion.com (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2740 and https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2614 are links that lead to a dead page that does not have active download buttons.

If I have already downloaded all 8 of the required dependencies I will still not be able to use these lots? All of this complication and the scdevotion links do not lead to a file. Uggghh.

Please explain how it does not function properly. Pictures always help me in troubleshooting. :)

Putting the dependencies in an .exe would go against the whole dependency concept, which has been an integral part of how this community has functioned for nearly a decade. I do not wish single-handily break away from how this community has functioned, largely without incident concerning this subject. Besides, putting someone else's work into my own .exe constitutes plagiarism. Long story, if you personally can't handle these (admittedly extensive) dependencies I don't need to know. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but I don't have time to deal with these arbitrary issues that can be solved with a few more mere minutes and mouse clicks.

I downloaded all the dependencies....

But when it came time to install them, I realized... wow, that's a lot of unnecessary junk? Seasonal flora controllers, all sorts of custom tree packs, etc... Just too much man, too much just for some little houses.

Come back when you can rebuild these using some basic models and not requiring that we change our game play style and entire cities just for your lots.

I'm sorry we aren't all like you "man", some people around here actually don't mind making a few more clicks of the mouse to download and install a few more pieces of junk; or in other words, the kind of prop dependencies that distinguish virtually every lot out there now-a-days from the ancient (albeit for you, comfy) Maxis content. The community keeps growing, you are bound to run into the same dependencies sooner or later. However, I suppose that someone who "downloads all the dependencies but doesn't have enough stamina to finish the job, with a few mouse clicks at most, and extract them to wouldn't see the rationale behind downloading fairly general dependencies that can be used on their own as well to your choosing.

Furthermore, saying that I am essentially forcing you to change your playing style is absurd. If I'm so influential that I able to remotely change change your "game play style and entire cities" then I must be doing one damn good job in the persuasive marketing and/or mind control department. Seriously though, no one is forcing you to download these lots. If you want something with less detail go learn to make your own BATs. Next time you so eloquently decide to criticize someone on their work make sure you can do a better job, let alone even do it at all.

Looks like the dependencies links are broken, at least for me. i can't open any because of that things "..." in the middle of the link (links don't becomes a "full", they looks cropped - http://community.sim...-vip-ruralpack/). Could you please just write the names of files which are in this list?

If you're going to report it as broken tell me which ones don't work. Please don't make it into some kind of search-for-me game.

Sorry to be a bother...

I've installed these and the dependencies, no problem there. When I go to use lotplop, though, I end up with the red cursor bug and it won't let me plop them. The "zzzzz....filename" versions of the BAT also don't appear on the lotplop list. I'm quite certain they installed properly, but I haven't had any luck plopping them. Would you happen to have a fix?

If not, what's the lot size for these? Perhaps if I can't plop them they'll grow instead.

Is it possible to add some diagonal lots? I'd like to place these in the style of a typical american subdivision, and some diagonal lots for the cul-du-sacs would look realistic.
