There are free programs that will open these types of files. Just Google it. You'll find lots of them.

Since [b]RAR[/b] is a valid format for STEX uploads and widely used in some regions of the world, we should be prepared with an easy solution, e.g. the slim and free [url="http://www.7-zip.org/"][b][u]7zip[/u][/b][/url]. Hth :-)

I will not have a chance to try this out for a while, but I have been looking for exactly this tool for a long time. Main question I have is, are these static props, or do the people wander around?

They should be static - for all I know, animated props cannot be turned into Mayor Mode Ploppables...

I would like to confirm that RAR files are perfectly acceptable on the STEX.

Please do not make negative comments on an upload, or down-rate it because it is uploaded in RAR format.

As Paeng has pointed out above there are plenty of free programs available on the internet to open these files.
