The Hong Kong/ Asia BAT Team Presents…

Admiralty Centre Revisited

Model, Modding / Lotting, Custom Menu Icons & Readme – Cockatoo.

Overview: The Admiralty Centre is an office complex made up of two glass and steel towers, Admiralty Centre One - which is the taller of the two at 35 floors and currently has a Principal advertisement on its roof and Admiralty Centre Two - the smaller tower at 28 floors which shows a Gome advertisement. They were constructed in 1980 and were built on the former site of the old colonial British navy headquarters which is why the Admiralty district is called what it is. They are located on Harcourt Road in the Admiralty district of Hong Kong, China and can be clearly recognized as part of the world famous Hong Kong skyline.

Some improvements to the previous version are:

• An improved window texture with less recognisable reflections for those who did not like them.

• Many small improvements to the base for an overall better appearance.

• Totally re-worked night-lighting including neon signs.

• Complex rendered as a whole to avoid problems with towers as props etc.

• Smaller lot size with less wastage.

This download is now a near accurate representation of the real life building for SC4.

Note that this version is totally compatible version one, you can have both installed at the same time, or delete the old one if you wish.

These lots were made with the X_Tool, so they don’t change your signature image without your permission!

What's this with the LOL-Megaprop link? The details on this one, and the nightlights are just fabulous. I am impressed by the lights, windows, signs, etc. This is one fantastic job. Hats off!

Model: 9/10, I love it! Nightlights: 9/10, Very Nicely done. Almost perfect. Lot: 8/10, It'd be higher if the building didn't overhang onto the sidewalk on one side. Description: 10/10, You included all important stats, listed all dependencies and even put a link in the description, while at the same time still giving us a little background information. Overall: 9/10, Thank You for sharing and revisiting this creation.

A lot of improvements compare to the first version which was already excellent, specialy for the windows texture which is amazing . The quality of nighligts is perfect with maybe a higher randomized application (hope my english understable...! sorry). Anyway you get , with the "jury's"felicitations a 10/10. Encore BRAVO!

Apparently he posted the LOL mega props link so we could improve the value of his "virtual city." Very deceiving and a little frustrating. Otherwise the building is great.

A very big LOL to raildigga666. I'll remove that now, just wanted to see how many people I could get in 12 hours. About 100 apparently, been in the mood for pranks lately.

Hi your works are very good. I have an issue though. Not only your BATS but all downloaded bats of mine does not light-up during night cycle. I have already updated to EP1 Rush hour v 1.1.638.0. What am I missing?

there are more comments on this file than there are downloads. That's a shame... this is a wonderful building. It will surely been found in my cities.

Just from the pics here on STEX, the previous variation of this building looks better imo. Guess I'll have to check it out in the game :-) [downloads]
