About This File

Updated July 28, 2007! All my old files are being updated and re-released to fix a host of minor issues and mistakes I made when I was still learning. The lot and desc files are the same the original meaning that the new version will replace the old one in your cities without any brown boxes as long as you delete the previous version. A BSC Cleanitol file will be available on SC4Devotion BSC exchange as soon as I have all the updated files released, which will make the job of deleting the old versions easy.

King of Donair is a chain of pizza parlours in Halifax, NS, Canada. The chain began in the 1970s on Quinpool Road and has expanded to now include several other locations. The chain gained publicity in the last few years after being featured in the hit Canadian series, The Trailer Park Boys. This bat is of the downtown KOD. It sits just off Spring Garden Road on the corner of Grafton and Blowers Streets. It shares the intersection with Sicilian Pizza and the European Food Store, which gives the area its well-known local name, Pizza Corner. Pizza Corner is a Halifax landmark and is where lunch begins and a night at the bar ends. Recently, the city installed a surveillance camera on the roof of a nearby building on Grafton Street to record activity in the intersection to try and deter late night violence between drunks. Besides pizza, the KOD building is also home to students who live in the cheap apartments above. If you look closely, you can see a Canadian flag being used as curtain by some penniless med student.

This is the first entry in what will be a series of BATs from Halifax's Spring Garden Road area. KOD grows on 1x2 corner lots and provides space for Cs$$.
There is one dependency BSC Spa Essentials See the readme for more detailed stats and instructions.

Check out my bat thread here or on SC4devotion for detailed information about the updates or my future projects.

Excellent work, spa! So good to see Canadian lots out here--and you're making it possible to make a whole Canadian street with your lots alone. Keep up the great work!

There's a KOD in Saint John, NB, just a few blocks from my school; not sure if they're related. At any rate, excellent work. It's great to see a distinctively Atlantic Canadian building on the STEX. Nice touch on the Stephen Harper graffiti too. 10/10

As the penniless Canadian medical student in question, I really appreciate this BAT. 10/10 of course. Thanks very much Spa.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize that KOD had spread beyond Halifax. They're doing better than I realized. I was actually there today too except I went to Sicilian. Oh and Fischbob I didn't think anyone would be able to make it out. You have good eyes :)

Wow, just look at that nightlighting! Excellent detailing with the graffiti and clapboard siding texture. The roof texture is a tad too dark, imho. Still, wonderful work!

Nice! Great detail and lighting! Hope this grows quickly so I can zoom in and see if that's really a wino lying on the sidewalk out front! Excellent. Thank you!
