About This File

Lucia Tower

A high-rise office tower in 2different growable versions, 2 landmark versions and a ploppable version withjobs.

-----------------------------------------------------------

- CREDITS -

Building designed by Eburress

Original Tweaking &packaging by Equinox

New lot designs, tweaks &re-packaging by T Wrecks

New menu icon for LM andploppable version by Andreas Roth

-----------------------------------------------------------

The original Lucia Tower had some flaws: Thegrowable version, which was to grow on 3x3 lots, also grew on 3x4 lots, and inboth cases, the building grew over the edge of the lot, overlapping whateverwas nearby.

Besides, as with 99% of all buildings on theSTEX, the stats (value, jobs provided, pollution etc.) were way off, i.e.totally different from comparable SC4 default buildings.

The landmark version made that "BigBen" sound upon querying, and I found the lot to be rather plain for alandmark.

The ploppable version also had a ratherinappropriate query sound and was set to be CO$$, whereas the normal buildingwas CO$$$.

Just FYI: Depending on which climate your prefer, there's a version with palms and another one with trees. Most versions require no dependencies, only the bigger landmark version (right pic) needs SG's widespread props.

Oops, almost forgot: As you can see from the file size, these are just the new lots and descs. You need the original building from here: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=3459 Mored detailed info in the readme file.

so only the lots and descs should be replaced and the model file retained? anyway, great update!

@ tyronne: Exactly. :o) Just d/l the original Lucia Tower, delete everything but the model, and use whichever of the new lots you like - or all of them... it's up to you.

Actually the building IS Eburress's, Equinox released it under NDEX a while back, this is a rerelease of how Eburress wanted the lots too look.

Very nice update, wish more people would do what you have done. There are lots of great older items on the stex that could use a new bit of a this or that. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I just witnessed a giant brown box rising from the ground. It was awful.
