I've played with these a little and if you build very simply it looks really nice. The texture looks good to me, I used a grass tile the same color and you can make wider 'fields' to link the farms. The diagonals were, as advertised, a little more difficult....

but maybe you'll update the diagonals :) Two thumbs up cause I will use these a lot I'm sure. Nice Job!!

I get the walls but where are the roads they invincible.

Nice set, but the texture on the cross-roads lot appears to be missing. I'm a little unsure about the choice of base texture, maybe something a little neater to fit with the farms more? This aside, a fine piece of work.
