About This File

This building was inspired by a picture of the Aon Center, in Chicago. I believe this style facade was what it origonally looked like, though it has had a major facelift in recent years. I decided to add some retail shops at the base, to give it a little more visual interest at street level.

Growable Version : The growable version of this lot will be built by your Sims when the appropriate zone is provided.

Lot size: 3 x 3 tiles , Commercial Office
Building Style(s): New York, Chicago, Houston, Euro
Growth Stage: 8
Occupants: 2,896 CO

Oh, and BTW, the original building was brilliant white (it was covered in Italian marble, after all), but it is now clad in granite that is just about identically colored to how you skinned the model. So this is the Aon Tower, not the old Standard Oil/Amoco Building.

Looks good... the roof of the shops looks very bare though. Is there a possible version we could have withough that bottom section? Otherwise not a bad effort. Looks like one of your other buildings.

Slightlyslack: You're thinking of the Aon Centre (or whatever it's called) in Florida. This one is a copy of the Aon building in Los Angeles. And great job Simgoober. It's a nice version of the building. The roof is a bit different though. I love the real world ads on the bottom too.

Very cool. Now all I gotta do is shift it underground so the shops don't show. Nice BAT, SG!
