  1. sign up Calling All Volunteers!

UPDATE: Ok, I've just re-uploaded the relevant files. Presumably they just need to wait for verification.
  2. sign up Calling All Volunteers!

I have a few, not many files, all SC3K related. Thankfully I had the foresight to keep an upload directory for my items so restoration shouldn't be difficult.

    It's ALIVE!
  4. Shattermore Lights: The Next Generation!

Smashing! (In multiple senses of the term... )
  5. Show us what you are working on in SimCity 3000!

The city of Twaddleborough has hit (and passed) the year 2050, which of course means... SPAAAACCEE!!!! *insert Tim Curry Command & Conquer GIF here* Indeed, however... Yeah, uh, a little help here with the name...?

See Also: As I've been playing this city, I've retained older versions of the map so I can go back and see how it's progressed, and now you can too! Technical Note: May require the Stonehenge Landmark file, otherwise you might wind up just seeing a greycube or empty "Unzoned" zone tiles or something like that.
  7. Show us what you are working on in SimCity 3000!

Embellishing our city's green credentials somewhat...
  8. Show us what you are working on in SimCity 3000!

That's good and all, but what about the lack of a platform on the other side of the tracks? We shall ignore the fact that this is an issue in (unmodded) SC4 as well...
  9. Reading through some of the comments here, I would like to clear up a misconception: The so-called "Online Safety Act" has nothing to do with Imgur's decision to block the UK; it's parent company, MediaLabAI, already runs other sites which are OSA compliant. The reason for Imgur's abandonedment of the UK is because it has recently been under investigation by the Information Commissioner's Office, the agency that enforces our data protection laws; the ICO had been investigating Imgur over how the site handled the personal data of minors, with a fine impending. To reiterate & summarise: Imgur had been in violation of UK Data Protection laws. https://ico.org.uk/about-the-ico/media-centre/news-and-blogs/2025/09/statement-update-on-imgur-investigation/ The OSA is incredibly naff (understatement), but it's not to blame here.
  10. The Simtropolis Annuarians Club

With barely 10 minutes left, today is the day my account finally becomes old enough to vote and drink. I have been a member of this site for 18 years now, though not always active throughout that time until a few years recently. * Hey, the legal drinking age here in the UK is 18, well, 18 to purchase on your own; it's 16 if in a restaurant with a meal, and 5(!) if at home and with parental supervision. Not sure how many people know about that last one, probably for the best they don't...

  12. Bulbs Broken Scorecards & Invoices

I would like to thank all who helped my my victory in this (not)contest possible; my parents, my close friends & family, the good folks of Simtropolis, the neighbours' cat, and of course the Shattermore company for manufacturing such criminally breakable bulbs. I have since cashed out my shares in Shattermore, and combined with the already generous dividends gained from said stock, I will be now retreating to my luxury compound in the tax haven that is the Sim Virgin Islands...
  13. Bulbs Broken Scorecards & Invoices

Well, I'm reasonably confident as to whom the No.1 breaker of bulbs might be...
  14. Bulbs Broken Scorecards & Invoices

Hmm, I've noticed that the discount rates on the invoices are different for each individual, wonder what the thresholds for those are... Also I must question the legitimacy of these invoices, the CS$ taxes for wherever that outlet has set up are ridiculously high; a company with accountants as savvy as Shattermore's would never let the firm set up shops in localities with such punitively high tax rates...I smell a rat...
  15. Bulbs Broken Scorecards & Invoices

However... asdfghjkl...!!! Slipped below 25%! Bah! *We need an angry llama emoticon* Oh well, at least I did actually manage to reach such heights... A very minor, temporary setback for Shattermore. They already have most of the political establishment in their pockets, and the SimNation's top lawyers...
