I have tried that with some things, like the militaryy base and port areas. I don't want to make 20 pics of 1 region. plus it would be like a jigsaw puzzle and everyone would b lost. there are some showcase pics coming in time to highlight some stuff I have planned. with each phase or play through, there will be less pics. I skipped doing pics of many of the small regions this time and some of the medium sized.

south of the railroad and Amish regions, we have several factory regions. each is different. I tried to get different factories to grow here than the northern sections. the 2nd has the SPAM food processors, and the 3rd is HT. Nicholson-

YEAR 23- 24 By now the village has lots of graduated students that need houses. 1 couple digs a salt mine. Others begins to process leather. The town adds a candle shop, mill and bakery and a tavern. 2 couples are farmers. A school and small market serve the forest workers to the south. A market is added for the miners. To store materials for the railroad workers and the trade posts, more markets and a barn were needed. the farm trade post purchased squash and tobacco seed.

Moosic- with a feed mill and a dairy creamery. with this the northeast regions are all completed for Phase 3. North half of the map done to year 7. I wish the pics would work better. pic 1- the creamery and a shopping plaza. pic 2 the industry section. pic 3- the feed mill. is small but handling the low amount of trains coming thru. pics of the riverside downtown and high rises. and 2 overviews of the northeast regions.

YEAR 20-22 It took time to build all the forest buildings and storage barns. 2 families work an orchard farm. They raise walnuts, apples, watermelon, and blueberries. A stone quarry and an RK iron foundry are built. The fort walls are finished. The fort now has an ale brewer and fur tailor. we take potaoe and pea seeds in on trade.

Lehigh- in charge of track construction and maintanence. has the most population growth of the 3 railroad regions.

YEAR 20 REVIEW Population has grown to 186 in 36 houses plus the 2 baracks and guesthouse. The fort sent 51 settlers in 3 groups. A mine settlement and a fort have been established. Tracks for a railroad are being layed. The bannies worked thru their struggles. It has been hard to keep everyone fed and they use every log that is cut. Our food reserves are recovering and soon we will have more logs gtom the 2 added forests. goals- Once settlers move out of the barracks, the fort walls will be completed. Tracks will be layed to 1 side of the map and trains can begin to arrive. Soon graduates will start building the city houses. We will need more stone and trade goods. With this mod order setup, many of the mods still use the old limits. This affects how things are stored. It also affects what limits need to be raised. For instance, marble that you would think of as a material or stone, is tagged under the textile limit. thatch is not tagged as misc but as firewood. Not a major issue but you do need to be aware of it. You need a mixture of old and new barns and storage piles. Not raising the right limits, can cause a shutdown of some farmyards and other workplaces. pics- stats, production, inventory, graphs

YEAR 19 28 settlers arrive, 23 workers with 5 children. They will live in the barracks for awhile during construction. 4 couples build CC cabins and will work 2 forests south of the KID forest. 2 gathering huts and a hunter cabin will bring in food. The group does include 2 farming couples and more mine workers. seed trades- sweet potato and watermelons.

Next, the 3 railroad regions on the eastern edge of the map. all have a city hall, bus routes, and churches. all 3 regions make $4000 a month in profit. LACKAWANNA- where the train engines and cars are built. It grew enough to need a 2nd power plant and a larger water pump.

YEAR 17 and 18 The school graduated 5 students. 2 work at the breeding farm. They tend go young calves that can be traded. 3 bannies went to work on processing food. A grinder for flour, a tiny bake oven makes nutbread, and a pork butcher. finally, merchants brought the glass that is needed for the main Thompson trading post. Marble is moved from the smaller 1 to stock the main. It will also sell our calves. 3000 food was delivered to the fort. To thank us for our help, they shared some steak and grapes with our villagers. A messenger arrived from the Landing Fort. He lit a bonfire. There has been an uprising. All maps and records of the original Landing Fort and towns is to be burned. We are to forget them all as if they never existed. I quickly asked how I was suppose to believe none of it existed when he was stanidng right in front of me? He said he was reassigned to the 2nd landing fort of Abbottstown which was smaller and slightly north of the original. I didn't argue much as he did bring some new orders. More supplies are being sent. We need to send 2 laborers out to meet the wagons. 1 of food and 1 of logs will be sent each year. a newly graduate couple decide to be farmers. A colonial farmhouse is built and a field plowed. They have a garden and will raise rockmelons in the field. The fort brought in 3800 food.55 logs, and 60 branches between trading and the deliveries. pics- breeder farm, cemetary and pork butcher, nut bread bake shop, new farm, trade posts

YEAR 15 and 16 The villagers do not need any more houses. Most of our youngsters have doubled up and married. We have 1 newly graduated worker, who will gather walnuts from a tree in the center of the start village. A 10x12 cemetary is fenced. This will be a place workers will congregate when they go idle. This helps to know when they are finished with a project and have time to start the next. The railroad workers built a DS bridge across the river. It is high enough to allow the merchant boats to travel under it. The hunting party brought back a lot of bear meat and they gathered onions, roots, and berries. The pig pasture is full. All our hard work paid off. We gained some food to reerves, not a lot thou. We used u more logs than were cut. The fort general finally realizes what I had been telling him. He needs more supplies and faster than we can produce them. He orders a general RH trade post to be built. We've outgrown our school, so the miners build a small school for their children. The Thompson trade post worker will work between it and the RH trade post. The raillroad workers send a builder to work the new school. We trade for blueberry and rockmelon seed. The fort traded marble for potatoes. pics- walnut trees and cemetary, railroad bridge, miner's school, new trading post to bring more supplies

YEAR 10-14 " A rider approaches, A rider approaches." the bannies in the lighthouse have spotted smoke from a distant fire. Normally a rider from the Fort is a good thing. They bring news from the fort and on other settlements. Sometimes they bring letters for various families from relatives living in far off places. As I went out to meet them, I had a bad feeling today. sure enough, the rider brings orders from the Fort commander. A railroad is planned through our town and we are to supply the iron for the rails as well as keep the engines supplied with coal. 8 settlers have been brought to help with the work. Soon others will arrive to lay the tracks and troops will arrive later to construct a fort. The troops will supervise the track layers and guard the supplies carried on them later. I tried explaining that we are a young settlement and are not producing food enough to support so many workers. The rider wrote down some notes and just said ," you have your orders." He surveyed the land and sketched a map to take back with him and gave me a copy. The tracks will cross the river south of our lighthouse and the fort will be between the lake and river. Beside the fort, trade posts are planned to transfer goods from the trains to ships. Our ore smelter is instructed to switch to iron. Our laborers are told to clear land for the miners and land for the fort. Things are about to get very busy. The 2 couples with their 3 children and the young worker built small houses near the mountain. ! works at a supply yard and 2 others dug a random mine. A hearth works to make specific items needed to build upgraded mines and the trading posts. It is fueled by charcoal. The troops arrive with the railroad workers. There are 15 of them with 7 children. Barracks are built before winter and then they began work on building the fort and houses. A Thompson trade post will bring more supplies. It is stocked for now with extra marble. it is a small fort with very little room. Locating it and the way the trade posts set on the river, limited the size. It will take some time to cut trees and complete the walls. The fort sends out hunting parties and will gather food in the fall. Feeding this many bannies will be a challange. There are now 5 builders and 20 laborers. While they work to clear land for the railroad, We'll work to restock some supplies. traded for 5 pigs, milk cows, and wheat seed. Plans don't always work the way you want. The mini town hall didn't bring nomads fast enough. So I ended up placing a 20% welcome sign and re-playing several years. Just as the group finished houses to move out from the barracks, a large group did arrive at the mini town hall. The 30 nomads had to be sent away. We not only can't feed that many, we are short on supplies to build wtih. It does mean I have to work to build stock up for the next group that will also be large. pics- an overview before we start this decade, pig pasture, miners, fort, houses for the railroad workers, milk cows

I have not had those issues. Which mod for maple did you use? Been a long time since I set this order to work. Team is here if I explain this wrong. I am using KID's Forest Outpost mod high in the mod order to set the thatch to burn as firewood. It doesn't need to be bundled by a woof chopper. The thatch is tagged as firewood in the limit counts. Plus this thatch comes from KID's wildlife starts mod not the RKEC. So the flowers are collected as thatch and not as flowers. The inventory is not overwhelmed with thatch and there are no flowers at all. This setup solves a few issues and you still have the options that come with RED's fodder. The fodder hut would grow and collect flowers. This grass mixture is shorter in height. Bannies don't get lost in it. To me, it is a lot easier to look around and see. This thatch also continues to grow all over the map, whereas the RK thatch was short lived and died off in a couple years.

YEAR 10 REVIEW 14 settlers came here to build a city. 34 more settlers madce their way from the Landing Fort. There are now 76 bannies. 38 adult workers, 5 students, and 33 young children. Our 1st priority was food and then firewood. Then we needed iron ore for rough tools and leather for clothing. Bannies have been busy collecting and stockpiling supplies. Logs and stone will be needed for construction. Copper ore is smelted and we keep a supply of iron ore. We have beef, corn, tomatoes, and pears from all 4 food groups. Hence all the bannies are healthy. The village has gwon into a small town. There are plenty of shops that function as houses, a school, tailor, town hall, playground, 2 markets and several carts abd barns for storage, and a guest house for new arrivals. The animal brreders have been busy cutting trees so more grass will grow north of town. And 2 bannies are planting trees to the south. Yes the bannies are environmentally friendly. We have more houses than couples. The young single bannies will marry and pair up at 16 years of age. With the school built, the bannies will join the work force and want to move out from their parents at the same age. We produce more than we use each year. You can see by the graphs that the bannies use up a lot of supplies to initially stock their new houses. We continue increasing the resource limits to keep the houses supplied as well as to build a reserve for future projects. goals for the next decade- new settlers should arrive every 3rd year. With 1 year to restock supplies and 1 to build for the villagers between them. 3 groups over the next 10 years and each will get larger too. Things are about to happen fast. So you don't get lost, I made a map. the marble quarry was placed near a mine mountain to the north. We will need that mountain to supply more ores and stone. Between it and the river is the thatch meadow. This left the south for the forest. Between the mountain and forest, will be the main city, In time, it will stretch across the river. Farms can plant west of the mountain and north of the forest. Much, much is planned beyond that. When I start a map, the 1st thing I do is hit the pause button and look around. Then start to plan what fits where. Usually, it takes several attempts to find a map to work with whatever scenario I have planned. I have projects planned for the next 3 groups of settlers. The 1st will be to dig into that mine mountain. as long as I keep everyone fed, things should go along quickly and smoothly. The population should at least double and we will clear and stretch this town considerably over the next decade.

I was here when everyone showed up. Wasn't my turn to bring the goodies.

I thought you fell asleep. I yelled for ya before the eviction party started. Don't make changes for someone else. Do what makes you happy and then add someone to it.

Eagles Mere- east of Harrisburg and south of the Sullivan mines. A somewhat rural town with a camground and a duck preservation, enough population for a bus route and some factories. With the doubled population, the school needed upgraded.
