  1. Casino of Monte-Carlo, Monaco

Thank you for the kind compliments. In SC3000, new buildings replace existing ones, however if you use the Landmark converter tool, you can add new buildings as additional monuments.
  2. Huh, you're from Monaco? Nice to meet someone from there; it's a neat place.

Thank you Biff. It's always strange when I meet people who tell me "Oh I've never met anyone from Monaco !" because most of the people I know are of course from here !
But yes indeed, we're only a tiny country and there aren't many of us. It's not rare when we travel and hand our passports to customs officers that they exclaim "And what is this supposed to be?"
Nice to meet you also. Where are you from?

I live in the northeastern USA. It's usually pretty nice up here. We even have casinos, nothing as fancy as Monaco though. I'd like to visit day...but traveling to Europe is pretty expensive.

I love New England ! I have some cousins in Boston. I always try to get to a Red Sox game when I'm in town !

I hope you make it over to Europe some day ^^

This is my attempt at rendering the famous Monte-Carlo Casino which is one of the main landmarks of the Principality of Monaco (my home town). If you are planning on entertaining wealthy tourists in your city, you need a suitable casino ! This building is intended to be converted into a landmark using catty-cb and CorinaMarie's Landmark Converter and then be placed somewhere pretty. You can download the converter from Simtropolis : 4x4 tiles Format: .bld Intended zone type: Hotel / Commercial Place into SimCity 3000 Unlimited/Buildings/ to install.

This is my attempt at rendering the famous Copacabana Palace which is the main landmark on Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach. Just what the rich visitors to your city need ! Another 5 star hotel ! I have also created a few 1x1 tiles which will enable you to have a boardwalk style promenade on any water front, to create a real tourist area. It is styled on the Copacabana's famous wavey black and white cobblestone promenade. This building is intended to be converted into a landmark using catty-cb and CorinaMarie's Landmark Converter and then be placed somewhere pretty. You can download the converter from Simtropolis : 5x5 tiles Format: .bld Intended zone type: Hotel Place into SimCity 3000 Unlimited/Buildings/ to install.

This is a building I have designed based on the real World Oasis Beach twin towers at the Dubai Marina. It is not an exact replica, because the SC3000 Building Architect tool doesn't allow for great triangular buildings, but I've tried to keep the cool modern design. This building looks good in Coastal and tropical cities. 3x3 tiles Format: .bld Intended zone type: Commercial Place of origin: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Place into SimCity 3000 Unlimited/Buildings/ to install.
  6. The Maldives

Wow, that's very impressive ! It really looks exactly like Malé ! A lot of work must have gone into this.
  7. So you still use SC3000? Shit, that thing's ancient by technological standards! Hopefully Microsoft doesn't block the game from running on Windows 10! If so, SC3000 will likely be dead and buried thanks to "security threats". But that's enough mumbling garbage. I'm just here to say hello, and introduce myself to the SimCity 3000 fan club.

Alright then. So did you first use SC3000 when you were still using Windows 98/2000/ME?

This is my attempt at rendering the famous Beverly Wilshire hotel which is the main landmark on Beverly Hill's Rodeo Drive. I made it just 2 stories higher than the original so that it would fit in with the height of the original Maxis buildings. Just what the rich visitors to your city need ! Another 5 star hotel ! This building is intended to be converted into a landmark using catty-cb and CorinaMarie's Landmark Converter and then be placed somewhere pretty. I've been very excited about this brand new residential building in Geelong, Victoria State, Australia. The construction of the real World Mercer was completed in November 2019. I did my best to give a fair rendering of this Australian luxury condominium. 4x4 tiles Format: .bld Dimensions: 4x4 Intended zone type: Residential Place into SimCity 3000 Unlimited/Buildings/ to install.

CityBuilder234 suggested our cities needed a new Convention Centre. So here is my attempt at designing one. I thought I would make a post-industrial style building that will be both comtemporary and retain some traditionnal industrial elements, such as the red brick façade. I got my inspiration from the Museum of Tomorrow of Rio de Janeiro, the new Convention Centre of Vancouver and the revamped dockside halls of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires. This building is intended to be converted into a landmark using catty-cb and CorinaMarie's Landmark Converter and then be placed next to your natural SimAirport. You can download the converter from Simtropolis : 5x5 tiles Format: .bld Intended zone type: Museum Imagined place of origin: São Paulo, Brazil Place into SimCity 3000 Unlimited/Buildings/ to install.

Thank you very much citybuilder234, that's a very kind comment. I will try to make a decent convention center. I hope it comes out well.

A real Airport Terminal for your city ! One of the few things that always bothered me in SC3000 was the unrealistic airport layouts. Thus I designed this building, which is inspired from various modern European buildings. I also included a front parkway, which fits with the SimRoads to make it look like a natural part of your road ways. This building is intended to be converted into a landmark using catty-cb and CorinaMarie's Landmark Converter and then be placed next to your natural SimAirport.
