Interesting, where are you from? In Germany, and most other European countries, it is exactly like in your screenshot. The shoulder is on the right side, as in the picture. That's strange! Look: https://www.alamy.com/tunnel-rennsteig-25042024-zella-mehlis-einfahrt-rennsteigtunnel-offiziell-tunnel-rennsteig-7916-meter-laengster-straentunnel-deutschlands-auf-der-autobahn-a71-aus-richtung-suhl-tunnel-rennsteig-25-04-2024-zella-mehlis-entrance-rennsteig-tunnel-officially-tunnel-rennsteig-7916-meters-longest-road-tunnel-in-germany-on-the-a71-freeway-from-suhl-image604498343.html If you look onto a highway from above, you have: shoulder | lane | lane | median | lane | lane | shoulder Interesting, and it shows, how hard it is, to get everything the way people are used to from their own RL.

Looks perfectly ok to me. The first two are like they should be. Are you maybe interpreting the RHD and LHD sides "the wrong way"? See here, `@rsc204` made a nice little explanation:

You should really check that "read-first-NAM-49-rev1" file out. I know, I know, I tend to ignore those readme files as well, but in this case, it's really nice and short and helps a lot, to bring you up to speed, if your last NAM install was with the .bat file. And take a closer look at the new .DLL files, if you're just coming back to playing SC4. I had that a few months ago (new install on Win11) and I can honestly say, the .DLLs change the game like the NAM changed it. It is a new world!

While we're at it, there was a tutorial on how to make these long pictures (idk how they're called) to show big city tiles in one picture. If somebody could point me to that tutorial (or something else to see how this works) would be very nice! Thanks!

Is there any tool, that can "safe" the installed NAM configuration? I know, I know, the installer can't read the actual config, and that's totally ok for me. But can't we have something like a plain *.txt file or something like that, that get's written during the installation, just to have it handy, if one needs to re-install or want's to change settings? What I'm thinking about wouold be a text file or even a screenshot of the settings, that are used for that install. One could simply open it in a new window next to the installer and so could see, what was checked in the install? I don't need any fancy automatic whatsoever, just to take a look at it, while re-running the installer. I have it quite often, after a new version, that I wanted to know, what I had installed and that would give a quick overview. Last night for example, I stumbled across my one-way-arrow settings...did the install three times, after changing the one-way-arrows, I missed to check something different...you get the idea. Something like this, as I can't seem to be able to make a screenshot of the installer window (at least not with a scrolling effect to see all the points): Would something like this be possible? I have no idea how the installer is coded, or if this is even possible with this installer, but it would be a nice feature, and would ease re-installation for many users I believe. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts!
  6. The WolfZe Appreciation Thread

Thank you very much Tyberius! With the correct names I found the files and the *.zip as well, thanks! Why i did safe them to "../downloads/sc4/new/for_future_use/airport" will forever be a secret Not that all other dls are in "../downloads/sc4" or "../downloads/sc4/airport" directly, but hey... @Turnstyled Yeah, but I should know, at least after loosing a lot of PEGs content. This should have been a warning - if I like something, why not download it right away? On the other hand, I know I have all of PEGs dls somewhere on an old HDD, but where that HDD is, I don't know This seems to be one of the pitfalls, if you play a game that old. But I don't want to miss it. After all the hard work that others have put into SC4, it is more up-to-date nowadays, than it ever was.
  7. The WolfZe Appreciation Thread

Hello everybody! Coming back from a longer pause with SC4 I directly stumbled into this thread....sad to see WolfZe is no longer active here. I always wanted to do a big session to download his content and now it's gone. Stupid enough on my side! Right now I'd want to have two of his lots, and I'm quite sure I did download some of his content. What I'm looking for right now is the "Lufthansa Technk Hangar". Can somebody check for the exact file name? I tried it with different searches in my totally overflowing and messed up downloads folder, but I couldn't find it. The DHL-Cargo, as well as the TNT-Cargo I already found, but this hangar is driving me crazy. I'm really sure, I downloaded this, but... Thanks a lot!

Did you correctly install the 4GB patch?
  9. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Unfortunately I haven't been to Russia or Moscow. We'll see, if this happens after Corona. I remember vaguely, a Swiss city had it's cobblestone renovated in the inner city a few years ago, and they made a 1.5m wide stripe in the middle, especially for women in heels to walk comfortably.
  10. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Women will hate all of you At least the high heeled women My wife tells me, cobblestone looks nice, but isn't very friendly to the heels as to the woman wearing them. So think twice, before you only have cobblestone, you won't be doing your fashion industry a favor. Nevertheless, nice texture!

@Mercandelle That fits! Unfortunately, you won't get any more support here, because it is very well known, that pirated software is....as a software developer myself, I don't go any further here. Your version is not patchable. Simple as that! And for a last personal word: if you don't have 3.-€, than don't play the game! https://www.mmoga.de/Steam-Games/SimCity-4-Deluxe-Edition.html

What I find more interesting, is the date of that file.... Created on 23/07/2020, last modified on 24/04/2007... @Mercandelle Where exactly is this version from? I'm starting to get a feeling about the origin of this version... No offence.

This is actually a (soft) link to the SimCity4.exe file in the apps folder. If you run the patch on this link, it will get from 1kb to what you see in the screenshot... A patched link, if you will.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't read/look close enough. Sorry.
  15. Thanks a lot for your answer, that clarifies things greatly! As you suggested, I only removed the four files (better put the other two back in), and left everything else in place. Works like a charme. Thanks for your work, again! It's really appreciated!
