  3. Hi, I am trying to find a plopped 1x1 lot in my cities that I now want out of my cities. It's the Plopmatic 9000 that maxes out demand. Now that I've reached a certain size of city I want to take it out but I cannot always find where I placed it. Is there a way to easily find a specific plopped lot like this?
  4. I am not familiar with the tools. It's alright, I thought maybe the software used for making custom buildings might have a box you check if you want it to have functional jobs/residents or just be a landmark.

  8. Does anyone have this train station in use in their cities? It's called tds29_TerminalStation and I love the design. Unfortunately in the game it acts very weird. Capacity is only 1000 when the website I downloaded it from states 25000. Also it keeps "rebuilding" from the ground up with scaffolding surrounding it from time to time. And then finally after a year or two of in-game time passing the station just disappears and all that is left behind are tiles that cannot be demolished. I thankfully haven't ever save my city tile after it's gone passed this stage but I really don't want to give up on this station, I've had it in my plugins forever and have finally found the perfect spot to place it. Any ideas??

  10. I thought I was being clever by marking them all historic before hand but to no avail. I may just end up leaving the Plopmatic in the large city centers that are now experiencing abandonment and build out the surrounding tiles as suburbs without the Plopo. I may still get the results I want. The aspect I'm annoyed with is the demand is maxed out for all RCI categories but the only ones that are growing is R$$$, CO$$$ and I-HT. I was really just looking for more of a balance. I'm not familiar with Reader at all. So thankfully the dezoning strategy has worked so far. Thanks for the detailed suggestion however .
  11. Hmm.. now is there a way to make sure my plopped buildings with jobs don't abandon?? Some have insanely high number of jobs
  12. Not a bad suggestion at all! Could probably dezone the whole city and find it quick! Thanks Jack, you m-m-m-make me happy.

    That's a great BAT. So are the Toyota Center, American Airlines Arena and Madison Square Garden on the exchange. Would love to see the creators of these continue the great work they've already done.

    This, more of this please. Would love to see some more North American professional sports stadiums, ballparks and arenas. There are lots of Soccer and Olympic style stadiums to choose from as well as what I would liken to AAA level baseball stadiums but not a lot of MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL. Thanks!

    Wow thank you! I haven't dug in to any of this yet but this looks super helpful and I know for sure I have the Sunshine 60 BAT downloaded cause it's in another one of my big cities. Thankfully I think this is only affecting the one city so far so bulldozing these shouldn't be hard. Thank you thank you.

    Just upzoned some Medium Density Commercial to High Density and now am getting these blank looking paved or plaza lots appear but with jobs. The one queried here and circled in the pic doesn't even have a name associated with it. The one directly beside it is the Disc Hotel which I saw in one other instance. And another lot was called Techno Mart which I can only assume is the Techno Mart linked below as it had a huge amount of jobs but it appeared as a 3x2 paved area whereas the actual Techno Mart should be much much larger. https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/32377-SC4-brazil-disc-hotel-by-garoudwolf/ https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/18281-techno-mart-it-mall/ So...   20. I'll definitely try to find that original download from 4 years ago. I double checked and found only an empty folder called Traffic Configuration Tool in my c: drive where SC4 is. Weird cause I wouldn't have deleted it since I never knew what it was until this week. If all else fails I'll DL the Tool only from the NAM 36 install and if that causes any issues I'll update my whole NAM. Thank you both for the guidance.
  21. I am very happy with NAM 34. After years and years of playing vanilla it was one of the first MODs I installed and is the only version I've ever played with. But I wanted to take a stab at tweaking the settings in the Traffic Simulator but it doesn't seem to be anywhere on my computer so I was trying to add it without changing my version of NAM.
  22. Hi All, I was looking for the NAM Traffic Simulator but only found an empty folder called Traffic Simulator Configuration Tool. So I found some insructions on how to install it by installing NAM again but only selecting the Tool. I got this pop up, and was wondering since I have NAM 34 and I am installing the tool associated with NAM 36 does that have any impact on the game? Is this tool compatible with my version of NAM? Should I just update my entire NAM? I have only ever used version 34 and am very comfortable with it. Will upgraded change anything in my existing cities and/or will features I am use to using be no longer available?

    I get about an hour a day to play while my kid naps so hopefully can finish those up today (Day 3) and then get back to playing tomorrow. I never ever plop bus stops or jails in my cities so I'll be going through my region and upgrading the seaports and plopping bus stops and jails as well. Kind of a tedious process but hoping for some nice results. Great tutorials and I'm enjoying going through your Plantation Bay videos also.

    How do I see what version I have? I just backed everything up and was about to try to reinstall the game again. Thanks. Also, hey look at this, maybe I did get it from GOG, I don't remember it was 4 years ago, a lot has happened since then.
