@Mark Waybill - What about a tab that shows pending orders? That where mine was. (I edited the poll to add a couple more choices) If I was sitting on the fence at all about the pre-order, today's Maxis Community Interview definitely shoved me off the edge. I don't know what community they are listening to, but it sure doesn't seem it's us! I am jumping through the hoops to try and get this cancelled. I wasn't given the phone call option like NCGAIO - had to settle for email contact instead. I think I can cancel through Paypal too?

Didn't think I could!... logged in to Origin and am trying to figure out how to cancel my order... If someone has already jumped through the hoops and is willing to share how - now is the time to take this thread off topic!

Thank you for the warm welcome.. by this time you must be at the point of getting the laundry done so you can start packing for your visit with your grand daughter. I have just spent the past week with all 5 grandchildren coming and going... the oldest is 7 the youngest will be a year on the 27th of this month. It has been wonderful to watch, hold (when they'll let you!) listen and re-explore the world through a child's eye. But (excuse my grammar), I will admit to being absolutely exhausted... and I really want my house back! The sun arrived this weekend, (daughter says she brought it specially for us..lol), it looks like we may finally get that curve in the jet stream I've been longing for. I hope things have cooled off in your part of the world. I'm thinking a glass of sparkling water along side a small plate of seasonal fruit and cheese would be a great way to end an awesome day... then again maybe a shot of the "good stuff" would be what the Dr orders. hola Alejandro, sounds like you have prudent plans for summer; here, I am waiting for the rainy season to end and for summer to begin... and now the days are getting shorter. I have been delightfully busy with grandchildren. It is amazing how they can take you back in time, though getting down on my knees is a lot harder these days. Managed to add fresh greens and chives to the dinner table tonight... the garlic and geraniums are looking very tired of the rain, wind and 5 C nights. A small dish of granola topped with fresh strawberries and a dollop of fresh yogurt ... a bottled of Perrier,a chilled glass and slice of lemon. I can pretend it is summer and I am sitting out on the deck, watching the sunset, a warm westerly caressing my shoulders.

Play the game as is... if you find yourself wishing for more, well, you know where to come for help!

heh... Marcos Ambrose (NASCAR Sprint driver # 9 car) sent Vegemite sandwiches up to the broadcast booth this past Sunday @ Michigan International Speedway. Kyle Petty enjoyed it.. Larry Mac turned green and Adam Alexander wouldn't even try.. Marcos had the pole.. he's having a great year... but Dale Jr won the race. (Ending a suspense filled 4 yr drought.) I think a tutorial on this 'acquired taste' is most definitely in order.

I would gladly send you some cool air in exchange for some sunshine... we're 4 C below avg... and our avg, for this time of year is 19 C. The only things happy in the garden are the slugs! Everything else is is showing signs of being too wet and cold. Don't think I'll bother planting cukes or zucchini this year... days are already getting shorter. Thank being said I'm thinking grilled Bavarian smokies with sauerkraut, grainy mustard, a couple of perogies and an ice cold beer. Not too dark, something crisp would be great; does the house have any suggestions? Hope you wake up to a cooler morning!
