On the same theme, of getting back to the business at hand, I've been a very good old man this year and I have a wish list that I believe is well-deserving. For the next few days I will be dropping hints.

I understand fully. Regarding funding needed to keep Simtropolis running, how does one address that problem, which I believe will be of greater issue in years to come. I hate to see Simtropolis and SC4 die a slow death.

I'm a businessman who enjoys SC4 not as a game but as a fun hobby, similar to a painter who wants to create a piece of art on a blank canvas. I use SC4 as a form of meditation after a long day at work. I've been a member of Simtropolis since 2003. I play SC4 far more than I feel the need to contribute discussions to a forum. I admit I do not play SC4 continuously due to life's expected or unexpected turns; but I always come back to SC4 because I have that need to create something. Over the years I have donated to Simtropolis and I have purchased the STEX discs when released. So I understand this setup we have cannot run on goodwill only. The fact is I believe in the background there are many persons such as myself who enjoy SC4. I want SC4 and Simtropolis to continue and hopefully thrive as long as possible. I've tried the other sim cities and skylines games and they just are not able to scratch that itch for me. Therefore, I'm going to put my business hat on and send you a proposal that I hope will help 1) Simtropolis with it funding needs to keep the platform running, 2) reward the BATters for their hard work and efforts, 3) maintain the current BATters we have and maybe return those that may have left because of a sense of feeling/being unappreciated, and 4) keep SC4/Simtropolis relevant for years to come for new players/BATters . Will you allow me the opportunity to come up with something that satisfy everyone's needs? Maybe this will allow for feedback from others as to HOW this can work. I will not focus on why or if we should do it. That can be left for another discussion/forum. What do you think? Am I wasting my time? Let me know.

Is there a way to reward financially the good BATters for their creations? I totally see how some BATters can feel underappreciated and taken granted. That would explain why many of our popular BATters move on to more rewarding adventures. Just brainstorming but how about this as an example: If someone downloads a bat they pay 50 cents or one dollar or whatever. Simtropolis website gets a percentage and the BATter gets the remaining amount paid. This plan would also help promote quality since the better the BAT the more it would be downloaded and greater the financial reward for the BATter. I for one have a number of buildings I would love to have in my game and I would be willing to pay for it, such as The Carnegie Hall Building and The Singer Building with an improved lot for downtown city use.

Hi Folks! I'm looking for the following buildings: Singer Building (can no longer find on STEX) and Shirokiya Japanese Dept Store (got the lot downloaded from the Hind & Seek Japanese website provided by Yarahi, but the building does not show when I plop it in the game).

Hi Michael. I asked a IT company who services my computer, and he stated the old Lot Editor Program was missing many of the compatibilities needed to be of use on my computer which has the Win10 system. So I guess for me, the "PIM-X" program is the only option?

Hi Folks. Can someone give us a definitive announcement if Lot Editor can be used with Windows 10? If not, is the "PIM-X" program the preferred option now going forward?

Hello All! Xander Dax asked this general question on 9/09/16 and I'm not sure a reply was ever provided. I have the same question because I keep getting error messages when trying to use Lot Editor. Can someone make the definitive statement whether "if Lot Editor works on a Windows 10 system"? If not, is the PIM-X program now the preferred option for use with SimCity4 going forward? I think a administrator announcement for new SimCity4 players or returning SimCity4 players like myself will help to remove the confusion and frustration. Thanks in advance.

I want to thank Yarahi for providing me that link ( http://hide-inoki.com/bbs/archives/sc4_0886.html) so that I could download the Shirokiya Japanese Department Store. However, when I tried to plop the building in my region no building showed. Is the building prop no longer available in that download?

Hi Glenni. Any chance you can bat new roundabout corner buildings. Thus far I believe their are only two such buildings.

Thank You! That is one thing I found very surprising is the lack of roundabout corner buildings, considering all the famous landmarks around the world that are inner city roundabouts: Piccadilly Circus in the UK and Columbus Circle in NYC to name a few.

Hi Folks. Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it in some form or another. I have only 3 roundabout corner buildings (as seen in the attachment as an example). They are Kongsgaten 58 and Steffenso Hjornet by Glenni and the Budapest Corner Buildings by NYBT team I believe. Does anyone know of additional roundabout corner buildings that we are able to download and where. I have asked a similar question in the past but I believe it was too general and the grateful responses I was getting were not exact. I hope this time I'm being more specific to help those who wish to reply. Thanks in advance.

Hey Folks. You have been very helpful in my two recent inquiries so I thought I will try drinking from the well once again, if that is cool with you. I'm working on a very dense portion of my city where at the center I will have a very busy roundabout. So far I have used Glenni's "modern looking buildings" to fit on the avenue roundabout (Kongsgaten 58 and Steffenso Hjornet). It looks nice but I'm having trouble finding two additional "modern looking" avenue roundabout buildings. I know there is the Budapest Corner buildings that fit on avenue roundabouts, but their appearance is more older European which is not want I'm looking for. Can anyone assistance me on this one? Thanks again in advance.

Thank you so much rsc204. I really appreciate your response. But I already have that download (PEG Random Forest). The one I was looking for also had the 3x3 lot and the wooded area for all three (1x1, 2x2, and 3x3) was more dense suitable for low-lying areas such as on banks of rivers or in city parks. I've tried PLEX and STEX and the download (PEG Random Woods) no longer exists. Any further assistance you can provide?

Hi Folks. I have not been able to find PEG Random Woods. In a previous entry, I was referred to a website which required a payment to download all of PEG's catalog. I just want to obtain this one download that had the 1x1, 2x2, and 3x3 random woods. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks in advance. Richard.

I just discovered the department store that I was asking about was developed by APTX. But I still do not know the name of the building and where/how to download it. Again, thanks in advance for any help you can provide. ******************************************************************** After further research, I got the name of the APTX BAT that I was asking about above: Daimaru Shinsaibashi Department Store. Now where do I find the download?

This is a tough one since I do not have a photo of the building I'm looking to download again. I had downloaded the BAT awhile ago. But then I stopped playing SC4 and then bought a couple of new computers without transferring all my game files. I'm sure we have all been there. Well, the building I'm referring to was a Asian BAT I believe. It looked like a multi-story department store that covered maybe 6 tiles wide and maybe 5 tiles deep. The building design was a very elegant art-deco style, which I always thought was not the norm for many of the Asian BATS that I was used to seeing. Also, the building was two-toned color from top to bottom--the top portion being a light tan color. Does this ring anyone's bell and if so how can I download it? Thanks in advance for your help.

First I want to apologize if this topic has already been discussed and answered. I'm trying to run the Network Addon Mod 31.2 Setup. However, in the process of the installation, I keep getting the following error message: The file "SimCity 4.exe" cannot be found in the installation directory. Any ideas how I can get this rectified. I'm currently using the Sim City Deluxe Edition disc version. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
