  1. El Paso Juarez

    Nice. I just finished a big job in El Paso and lived there for a couple of months. I really like the area, dispite several people complaining about it. I will have to base a fictional city on this map, as I don't know the city well enough to reconstruct it, but the map looks really nice. Thanks for sharing it :)

    Looking good so far. I was thinking, once you have these lots perfected, perhaps you could do some suburban duplex and small apartment complex courts like these which would grow on medium density lots of the same size. This would allow you to re-zone these lots and have them upgrade without changing the layout of the courts and the associated streets/roads that feed them. Just a random thought that popped into my head Don

    Great idea. I was thinking of doing something like this awhile back, but my relative inexperience with lot building, combined with my work schedule has kept me from doing much myself. I for one, would like to see several houses rendered diagonally, maybe we could convince some of the people who released some of the great house BATs to turn the models 45 degrees and render them as props. While diagonal lots are not possible right now, with several houses along a diagonal court, it would add a lot of variety to the layouts. You could use the diagonal house models at the end of the courts as well, to keep them facing the street. Here's an example of what I mean: H=orthagonal house D=diagonal house S=street texture O=cul-de-sac texture R=actual road or street DHD HOH DSD HSH HSH HSH RRR Or on the diagonal, it could be like this HDH .DOD ..HSH ...DSD ....DSD .....DSD RRRRRRRRRR Sorry for the cheesy ascii art.   11. Absolutely amazing! I've been looking for something to do this since SC4 came out. It will be great not having to reconcile edges every 30 seconds to keep everything even when terraforming by hand. I am almost done with a new region that I've spent hours hand-sculpting, and now I will wait for your tool to become available before starting the first city. Thanks for your hard work and great ideas. Don

    Cool building, and useful as well. I've been using a modified lot that serves as a higher capacity hospital based on the original building, but this will look much better in my cities.

    Great idea Peg. These textures look immensely more realistic than the game's stock water. A quick question: Which of the textures, if any, closely match the pond & stream kits? Will you be releasing pond & stream kits with the various water textures? That would be ideal
