lol, yah, i already placed some trees on the road, when all of a sudden 3 popping up :P and yeah im still experimenting with nature, in terms what looks good AND can be spreaded out easy over bigger areas,... my other entries have quite good nature, but i want to get some more out of it :)

This is a small sneal-peak, the pictures will be replaced maybe or changed when its time... Once its all set ill post more and drop in a feature. Just wanted to give everyone whos interested a small preview on what im working right now This tile is straight next to Kiatkami, so it was close to take that idea and go a bit further, it will be a smaler town, less industrie, bigger castle area more nature and i wanted to do some navy stuff this time since i never used this stuff before and there are some really cool things in the pack! So, my progress on this tile is a bit slow, i got a new job and im quite exhausted in the evening and i only can spend a few hours per week on building,.. still i have some new pics for everyone who is interested in this preview,... i reworked the city seaside and took a seperate location for the navy supply, i like this solution better because the navy stuff has a quite clean setting... i like it more chaotic close to the city,.. the castle area is about twice as big as shown here, i keep the rest till release i like the reworked stuff better, more chaotic! the new navy supply base... the piers, patrolboats, uboats and the helicopter carrier are from sc4devotion, the destroyers are from hide&seek... hope i could quicken your appetite see you soon, your Lance

Kitakami Update Hello everyone, thanks for coming back here, I finnished Kitakami and want to show you the corners you have not seen yet. Lets start with a topdown: As you can see there is a huge variety of stuff, rural, nature, city and traffic, i think it went out pretty well, but decide for your self here is the lighthouse area, its very popular by the tourists and a must see if you come here Here is the river that turns to a city channal, its my first real river, so dont be too harsh Now come a few closeups of other riverspots The bridge didnt fit exactly, but still looking good i think... Here you can see how the river turns into the channel. It goes over the reservoir... The city tunnel i already wanted to show in the last update Northern commuter station, i feel like it was worth to show... Some slopes, there are quite alot... Oh, Now comes another sightseeing stuff: It doesnt really come out on that resolution so i made a few closeups The park, The castle, or temple maybe,... im not sure And the spa-hotel straight below. Ok, what to say, its some pics of the farming area arround,.... the fields hug the small valleys between the tops of the mountains, i tried o make it look cool Thats it for today, and for Kitakami, i think i showed you all areas of interest, combined with the old contend below it gives a pretty compleete overview as you can see on the topdown image. I hope you enjoyed, i at least had a lot of fun crating this city, also by its diversity and some stuff i never did before, like that camping stuff, the beach and the river, the lighthouse and so on. So, thanks for watching, you may comment again if you feel like,... have fun,... your Lance OLD CONTENT The natural harbour is a bit limited, so some ships have to be unloaded anchored From peak to shore... Now one of my favorite areas: some pics of the "central" area, its a pretty small town. As a little goodie for the issues, here is the elementry school! Thats it for today. Like i sayd, its wip, the city is more or less done, but there is alot of nature and farming to do arround. Also the lighthouse area and so on! Ah Invader, you are right, i just viewed my pluginfolder and i have no terrain mod enabled (yah water and rocks and beach still there). i gonna lookout for a nice one soon :D

thanks, i think its a very interesting and beautiful tile, needs some luck to do something good there too. I used it a long while ago but i remember it didnt come out that good :) but i think this time it went quite well... Of course there are always some areas that might need more love, but ... :P

So, yeah i found a okish seeming storrage, to the quality of the pics i must say, i run it on max settings for screening. But i use a ATI card and had some trouble running the game after installation. :( Still, i used some tweaks i found on the internet and it runs ok. I use hardware mode. Once i launch the game i ve to tab out and back in to fix the flashing HUD, and when i scroll all props and stuff disappear as long as the camera moves. I had none of theese issues with my old geforce. This might explain why it does not look as great as it should. :( but my ati is a 4gb powermachine for a good price, so i have to take a lower quality on this game i guess.

ah damn, my bandwidth exceeded, really sorry, i didnt know it goes that fast to get 10gb. guess i have to wait and leave it to 1 update per month :( if someone knows a better free storrage with more bandwidth, please post or pm me :(

ahm yeah, i use ms paint and a 24" widescreen, makes at 800 wide only 450 height! i gonna try :) sounds like a good plan, just gotta look how to cut it on 800x600!

There are a few plugins in the SPAM series that allow you to build small tiles of different type of fields! its pretty much work because you need to drop them one by one! still they look really good and there is a huge variety of different types. They are in my "park" menu, i belive they dont actually "work" as farm but you can build nice looking farms with them. I used them as my farms didnt grow anymore after a certain population.

Today i want to show you some of the industrial area west of Myogi, todays focus will be coal and steel production. Dont forget your helmet and safety-shoes! Here is the Administrative building, the post processing and plenty of railroad-transfer. Now few shots of whats not in the mosaic: And now: the pit!! Thats it for today, its not as ambitious as the last entry, still i hope you enjoy. I wanted to do something different after the last project.
