Parisian replied to Darknono35's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Awsome. Just one thing : it seems you forgot the reflection glasses of the back tower (south side), The rest is very astonishing for the realism and the quality of your texture. ps : Bonne Année 2013 -

Parisian replied to Aaron Graham's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
THANK YOU AARON for that 2013 Present. And not the last one. We have been very spoiled with you and your work. Always wonderful to add new typical big apple buildings in our cities. I have a question : what do you think of the Ansonia Building and more globally buildings in this area? They are pre-war too.- 2,347 Replies

Kiddies, you should stop arguing on Aaron's thread : it's disrespectful for people who are here to follow BATing work and for this thread's owner. At least you should open a private thread where you can continue to argue. But not here. END OF SUBJECT -----> Back to Aaron's Bating. Thanks people- 2,347 Replies

Sad news and a big loss for us. Are u about to continue Bating under your own name or are u completly leaving simtrop'? Anyway, you made a lot for that team, hope to see your Bat released again soon and to see u later alone or in that team again one day. Good luck -

Parisian replied to Aaron Graham's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Aaron, your contribution to that team is just very plentiful and of quality. In New York, u get two things, buildings which make people recognizing the city (Empire State Building, Chrysler, the Rock and many others, AND the general "texture" buildings, those which make NEW YORK when you are in a common street (like in Paris with the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre and in another aspect typical Parisian buildings). Without your work, having that second part would be impossible. Your work is incredibly realistic and endowed with a high quality render. My city was full of your uploads and I have the impression to be in New York when I look at it in any zooms in the game. 60's building or older, I get great hopes in your work. Thank you very much for all- 2,347 Replies

nybt-forum-threads Darknono35's NYBT projects
Parisian replied to Darknono35's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
It was not in this way things has been said but more into recreating BATs fitting with the SC4 scale too. As Gutterclub said and we all act like this : we use the 133% scale once the model done. The detailings is something which seems to me the most important thing, considering the scale "second" in the way that Maxis scale is unregular from a building to another one. I prefer to find a compromise btw Maxis and the Bating which sometimes create a very little difference with others buildings but make the game more realistic too for players. This was just my own opinion and in this way I followed Sgt pepper point of view. I don't pretend it better or worst. :} -

To Sgt pepper : I agree with you. As long as the scale looks correct I don't care to be in the exact size or not. As u said 4-5 meters per floors is realistic in the game. I m so glad you are getting up with this amazing model. Darkono, the guy which model faster than his shadow ^^ here some more pics to help u for back and top details : Good luck for the last line PS:Have u ever think to recreate Chrysler Building? -

This building shows your absolute improvement and investment in the NYBT along with others. Thanks again. 5+++/5 [/background]

Darkono, if u look at the Sherry Netherland Building roof, u will notice that the back stack looks like a perfect square and hide the whole triangle back roof. The last level of the building is a little recessed compared to the rest of the "top tower". That part especially looks a little yellow brownish. For the roof as the others said it's a little stretched (in the height way). Except that the rest of the building in term of dimension seems completely correct to me. Here a pic of the top which could help you improving that masterpiece. Good luck and take your time Btw, the top is very French style especially with Gargoyles. It makes me think to the Tour Saint Jacques in Paris. -

This tower is a luxury condominium complex built in 1998 located in Murray Hill/Manhattan, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues and 38th/39th St. This building appears as a landmark (sorry) and has for now no nightlighting. I will try my best to be able to render a nitelite version soon. It is a 2X4 surface building. P. Required : NYBT Essential Light Replacement Mod (LRM) v4.0 Mega Pack- 25 Comments
